1/08/37 Letter to EC from Mr. [

Mr. Edgar Cayce
Virginia Beach, Va.
Dear Cayce:
I guess you have been wondering how I am getting along since
that reading. Well, I am still here. Been feeling pretty
bad, but feel much better today. The first time I have been
up all day since Monday. I do not know of any words or
enough money to express my appreciation and thanks for the
prompt service you gave me in this matter.
I am very sure that this information came in just the right
time or I would have surely been cut open by now. In fact, I
was hurting so bad before the reading came that I went to the
hospital and the Doctors assured me of no relief other than
that of an operation, and I had made arrangements to report
back at 6 o'clock that evening, but the pain ceased and of
course, I did not go back. I applied the suggestion given,
and today I am on the road to be good as new except I am very
sore in the abdomen region, but I am sure that I will
overcome that within a few days.
This is all that I will attempt to write at this time, but
will write you again in a few days as to my condition, and at
the same time I hope to have a pay day and will send you
enough at least to pay for stamps.
Again accept my thanks for the kind favor. With love to all.
Yours very truly, [

another attack. Do I have cancerous or ulcerous stomach?
Why loss of much weight? Any special diet?"

exactly except painting of the side. The disturbance was
removed. No operation as yet, and no return of the severe
pain."
