6/23/32 Letter from EC to [
779]: "...Now, regarding the
diet for [
781]: My interpretation of a fruit vegetable
breakfast would be berries with or without cereal and cream,
or tomato juice. When citrus fruits are taken - oranges,
lemons, grapefruit - do not use the cereal at the same meal.
These may be altered to suit the desires, for each carries an
element the other does not that is necessary for the best
conditions of the body at the present time in building up the
general system. At noon he should have soups from
vegetables, as pot liquors and the like, but that do not
carry too much of the fat or grease. Meat juices may be
obtained by cooking beef steak in a glass jar and extracting
the juice, which may be kept in the ice box and given to him
in very small quantities at each noon meal - as sort of an
appetizer. Also he needs the green vegetable salad
consisting of the vegetables named. The rest I believe you
understand. I hope this is clearly outlined for you and Mrs.
[
780]. Don't hesitate to drop me a line if at any time you
want my version of any part of the reading, for you know my
whole purpose is to be of service..."
7/31/32 Letter from [
779] to EC: "...I am so happy to say
that we are more than pleased with results. He [
781] is
looking so much better and has gained 2 lbs. You see it was
about two weeks after the reading before we got him started
on treatment. He says he feels so good. He had so much
trouble with a breaking out on his feet, but now that is
well. We will have the dental work started right away - then
he should be in fine shape for school. We are still having
him to keep up treatment and diet..."
8/28/32 Father [
779]'s letter: "[
781] has gained more than 4
lbs. and looking and feeling fine. He has been going to the
Dentist for several days. Had about 6 teeth needing filling.
I think one more visit will finish that. Then attention will
be given to that extra tooth. I will advise you as to what
disposition will be made of it..."
9/25/32 Letter from [
779] to EC: "...It is wonderful how
[
781] is coming out. He says he never gets enough to eat at
one time, just get uneasy and quit. The dr. have all of his
teeth in good shape now. Pulled the tooth underneath the odd
tooth so that the tooth that was growing above would kinda
drop into the vacant place as much as possible by pressing it
with the fingers now and then. But it will never look
nice..."
