3/05/35 Mr. [
802]'s ltr. to EC:
Mr. Edgar Cayce
Virginia Beach
Virginia
Dear, Mr. Cayce:
The fact you did not have an opportunity to talk to me after
my reading can be laid entirely at my door. Seems as tho,
at times, I go to sleep on the job.
I have friends in Norfolk and they have been complaining of
my lack of acceptance of their hospitality and the arrival
of your letter last week started up the old spring fever bug.
So, if I possibly can, I will run down this coming Sunday
and kill three birds. First, I will hope for another
pleasant chat with you, see Bill Barham, and then go down
to Tobe Smiths on the creek and gorge on Lynnhaven oysters.
Possibly you might be persuaded to go along. Its a thought
anyway.
Read your reading over with [
681], and as you say, there is
a lot of vague thoughts in it that require some
interpretation. And, I am not a good interpreter.
It is unusual to find anyone with a gift such as yours not
resorting to quackery and that one thing has caused me to
consider the entire matter rather seriously.
Trusting to have the pleasure of seeing you shortly,
Cordially, [
802]
3/31/35 Letter from [
681] to EC: "...I am down at
Mr. [
802]'s office and he has been telling me how he made a
'Paul Revere' down to Norfolk in six and a half hours.
Says he had a nice visit and that HLC went over the life
reading, etc. I should like very much for you to give him a
business reading. In fact have taken the liberty to book
him up for one... Do not make any engagements for Friday
evening. Mr. [
802] would like to have you Cayces..."
4/09/35 See
802-2, a Mental-Spiritual reading on his life
and work.
4/04/38 Miss [
681]'s letter: "Do you remember our good friend
[
802]? He married 2 yrs. ago - a Chicago girl, Dr. [...]
founder of the [...] and nutritional foods. I visited them
and had a fine time. He asked about you."
