GC: You will have before you the entity [815], born May 27, 1903, in Manhattan, shortly after sunrise. You will answer the questions he submits, as I ask them, concerning his life and work:
EC: Yes, we have the records of that entity now called [815]; and that which has been indicated in the information through these channels.
Ready for questions.
(Q) For purposes of astrological rectification of my birth chart, can you inform me what HOUR, or even more precisely, what MOMENT, I drew my first breath of life in this incarnation?
(A) Three minutes of ten in the morning.
(Q) When would be the most favorable time for me to turn wholeheartedly to the creative effort of writing a "dramatic comedy" under the title, "The Life of Reilly"?
(A) As we find, this would be BETTER beginning in the coming month of march. Any time after the 22nd, but before the 21st of April. Should be finished by the 21st or 22nd of June.
(Q) Do you foresee its artistic and/or financial success? Would it make a better vehicle for Hollywood films, rather than for the New York stage?
(A) Much here depends, to be sure, upon how the subject is approached. As we find, however, as a vehicle for the screen would be the better; would make more of a financial success and reach the greater number of individuals.
While there should be the comedy as well as the dramatic portions, it should also carry a lesson - in the hour.
(Q) Would I be more gainfully employed in my place of birth, New York City, or in another city, - Washington, D.C., Hollywood, Havana, Cuba?
(A) As we find, in the West; as Hollywood, North Hollywood, or that environ.
(Q) In what type or character of work would I be most profitably (to myself and the world) employed?
(A) If there is the ability (and there is, if there is the will to do it), to write such a story as the title above gives and indicates, it would be in THIS field of work and collaborating with others in same.
And this, as is being indicated, is a field in which the self can, if it will apply itself, contribute its part to defense as well as to the American Way of Life.
(Q) Do you find I have learned the lessons, - practical as well as idealistic - of marriage, sufficient to undertake a second venture into marriage, without hurt or hindrance to the development of myself or prospective bride?
(A) This means consideration of other minds and other activities also. As we find, this CAN be - if there will be agreement on the part of each, and then you each living up to your part of such a union.
(Q) Having had this prompting for more than a year now, for Miss [2700], born in Bennington, Vermont, July 31, 1921, - please advise if we two could be of mutual, constructive aid to each other?
(A) This would necessitate a paralleling of the complete life experience of that entity, to answer this correctly. As from the INDIVIDUAL, [815], it would be a question; yet there MAY be the answer in the complete paralleling of the experience - and this we haven't of Miss [2700]. A life Reading might indicate same.
(Q) What is the significance of the planet Neptune now transitting my natal Mars at 29 degrees of Virgo? To what is it trying to prompt me?
(A) Activity, - as Mars oft does! Hence, as indicated, these activities should begin when there has been the crossing - after the 21st or 22nd of March - if there will be the complete success for the body.
There should be a greater study by the entity of astrological aspects. These are not intended to create confusions in the mind, nor dissuade the entity from an interest or confidence in astrological aspects. But these are merely inclinations, tendencies to the individual entity. The entity has a will of its own. Oft there is much to be gained by resistance of tendencies, as much as there is to be gained by regular exercise to increase or strengthen the muscular physical body. There is the need, the necessity of the mind being ruled or regulated by the will for the same reasons or purposes. These astrological aspects, then, are tendencies. When these are used properly, they are used in their tendencies towards creative things and resisted or made creative by the will when they indicate negligence or any phase of NON-creative activities.
(Q) How best do you find I can cooperate with my natal Saturn, placed at birth at 9 degrees of Aquarius?
(A) As just indicated.
(Q) Would a dramatic play about the life of Thomas Paine prove acceptable to the public?
(A) This also might best be made for screen. There are too many questions as to some phases of the activity of that entity. Upon the screen it might be made most helpful, but NEVER ANY that tends to dissuade - save that which is creative, and in the minds of many that age of reason lacked the creative; though the intent of the entity was lost much by the discussion of same.
(Q) Could you direct me to the actual source where I could get material for projecting to the public the message Paine sought to get across in the late 18th Century?
(A) Only in the Library of Congress.
(Q) What is the karmic tie existing between my mother, [...], and me?
(A) This could best be drawn from the life chart or the Life Reading of each paralleled. There were those periods in which there were associations that bring about the union of effort, and at others the discussions which arose. As to when, where, or the circumstance, - these may not be given from this individual's, [815]'s, OWN chart.
(Q) What is the barrier that seems to exist between us for any expression of affection, even though our love is very real?
(A) As indicated. This may be drawn more from the life experience of [the mother] than from the life of [815]. For, as given, there may be the one side expressed - as to where, evidently more than one; else they would not be conscious of this variation. But evidently there is the needed experience for each, and the need for the application of will with Creative Influences; that is, the creative urge intending to convey spiritually.
