This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at 1867 Kalorama Road, Washington, D.C., This 13th day of February, 1935, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [816], new Active Member of the Ass'n for Research and Enlightenment.

Present: Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mr. [816].

Time and Place: 3:20 to 3:25 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Washington, D.C.

TEXT

  1. GC: You will have before you the information given on Feb. 7, 1935, 11:00 to 11:30 A. M., regarding the physical condition of [816], present in this room, and a copy of the interpretation of which I hold in my hand. You will please clarify the herb compound, as there has been some misinterpretation, giving the correct change as to quantity of the carrier or any other ingredients.
  2. EC: Yes, we have the information and the interpretation of same as given here.
  3. In the preparation of the carrier for those properties that are to act upon the system as a correctant, and as an active force with the assimilating forces of the body, that will eliminate through those corrections as indicated and that may bring about the better forces of this body, this should be two quarts (2 quarts) of distilled or rain water, and reduced to the one quart, with the Garden Sage or Clary Water.
  4. The active forces of these ingredients are as these: The Sage or Senna is as an emit activity upon the organs of the digestive system, and toning with the Stillingia, the Gin, the Ambergris, the active forces in the pancreas; especially; as well as a stimulation for the cleansing through the alimentary canal; cleansing also through the active forces upon the hepatic circulation.

  7. (Q) Compound Simple Syrup, is this Compound of Simple Syrup?
    (A) Just a simple syrup compound, or the syrup combined in the nominal manner, you see, to which is added the small amount of the alcohol that makes for a preservative of same. Or, it may be made wholly - if it's to be made fresh - as the four ounces of the sugar (preferably beet sugar) to two ounces of water, boiled together, you see.
  8. (Q) When it was given to "eat the meals" did it refer to just eating the meals regularly?
    (A) Eating the meals regularly. There has been the tendency on the part of the body at times to be irregular with the meals, see?
