Dear Miss Davis:
Not long ago I stumbled onto a book in the public library
about the life of Mr. Cayce, by Sugrue, and I think it said
the fourth edition. Will you please tell me what is the
latest edition, where I can order a copy, and the cost
thereof. Stamped envelope is enclosed.
I have a faint recollection that either he or you told me
about a man who persecuted women, and who in a later sojourn
was born as a woman. Do you recall any such reading, or am
I mistaken.
Do you recall offhand any reading which mentioned that an
individual who, in one life, had inflicted some terrible
injury on another, and who in a later incarnation was
punished by being born with, or made to suffer from, a
similar injury? Don't do any work.
Best wishes, [
816]
[I sent him a folder on MANY MANSIONS, with a
personal note,
3/02/54; also marked pub. list, GD.]
3/06/54 He ordered MANY MANSIONS, Historical Basis of EC's
Power, and The Coming of Man (describing Atlantis).
3/65 GD's note: His brother, Mr. [
826], told me that both
[
816] and his wife, [
811], were very feeble, but that
Mrs. [
811] was worse off and that Mr. [
816] did practically
all of the housework, cooking, etc., and looking after her.
6/15/66 Brother [
826]'s letter indicated that Mr. [
816] is
now living in California.
3/77 GD's note: The brother [
826] recently died and we were
trying to locate Mrs. [
811] through Mrs. [
3627], a mutual
friend, who said that she thought Mrs. [
811] was still living
in Calif. though Mr. [
816] had died a few years ago.
