If there would be those precautions about the diet, not
eating too fast, not overburdening the body, keeping the
Radio-Active Appliance for equalizing the circulation, making
for the eliminations by the use of enemas rather than
cathartics, we find that we would make much better conditions
for the body; and these would produce better reactions for
the system.
When preparing the enema (and do not make same warmer than
the temperature of the body), to each quart of the water add
a level teaspoonful of soda and a heaping teaspoonful of
salt. Dissolve this thoroughly, to be sure, before it is
used.
In the last of the waters - that is, after the evacuations
have been complete - put to the quart of water two
teaspoonsful of Glyco-Thymoline for an antiseptic and for the
relieving of any strain or any reactions that might produce
irritation.
These would be taken when necessary, whether it is every day
or every other day. Be sure that there is a regular time for
eliminations and if there is not the evacuation then use the
enema until this is produced, or cleanse the lower portion.
Use the Radio-Active Appliance each day, or those days or
periods when the body is extra tired or when there are
irritations. Rest while this is being given, preferably
lying prone.
Do that.
Ready for questions.
(Q) Is the heart functioning alright?
(A) The only disturbance we find with the heart is a
sympathetic condition and by removal of those causes as
produce the irregularity at times, these should be
eliminated.
