12/28/36 Letter to EC from [
843]:
Dear Mr. Cayce:-
"Having implicit faith in your ability to correctly diagnose
my present physical condition, as well as in your corrective
treatment or remedial suggestions, I would like very much
for you to give me another reading just as soon as you can
possibly do so. I am enclosing P.O. Money Order for $10.00
to cover your charge for this reading.
"I have been suffering for several months with many
uncomfortable symptoms, including extremely poor digestion;
intermittent raw pain in the cardiac end of my stomach;
heart skipping beats as the result of getting fatigued,
worried or eating certain foods; sleeping poorly and feeling
tight and all wired up most of the time. I tire very easily
and quite suddenly. In fact, my condition is greatly
impairing my efficiency in my work, and I want you to tell me
what is wrong and how I can get back to normalcy.
"I am enclosing a few questions and I trust you can answer
all of them for me.
"On receipt of this letter I wish you would wire me collect
the day and hour - THIS WEEK IF POSSIBLE - you can give me
the reading. I will be at my home, ..., N.C., in my bed
room.
"I have often thought of you since I saw you last in
Washington, and I hope you have been enjoying good health
and therefore able to do the great work that you only can
do - in a troubled world that needs your services so badly.
"Trusting that the new year holds many good things in store
for you, I am"
Sincerely yours, [
843]
"P.S. My sisters: Mrs. [
678] and Mrs. [
264] often write
about the many wonderful things that you are accomplishing.
Time has given me the same deep concept of your work that
they possess."
12/30/36 See
