This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 17th day of July, 1929, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [849].

Present: Edgar Cayce; Mrs. Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mr. [849], L. B. Cayce, and Linden Shroyer.

TEXT

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [849], here. This we have had before. Now, while we find many changes with the physical forces of the body, and these in the greater extent are for betterment of conditions with the body, there are, however, those conditions of which the body would be, or should be, warned. This as is related to that of clarification of the blood supply of the body, with the changes as are being brought about in the system, so that the resultant conditions in the future development of the physical forces will not leave the tendencies of drosses, either from that condition or tendency in the system of the constipation, leaving drosses through certain portions of the system as would be detrimental, also the clarification of the forces as respecting the body in blood reaction. Then, we would add these as precautionary conditions at the present time:
2. Take Fowler's solution of arsenic. Be careful with the quantity, the dosage, also with the diet and the activities of the body while these are active within the system. Begin with one drop each day. Take this each day, one drop, in water, for five days. Then, at the end of the fifth day, increase to TWO drops. Then take this EACH day for five days. At the end of the next fifth day increase to three drops in water. This taken each day for five days. So on, until the dosage is to five drops - five drops only. These drops measured from a dropper, not from bottle. At the end of this, relieve the system of this for ten days. Then begin again with one drop for five days, increasing THIS time a drop every fifth day until THREE drops are taken. Then leave off for five days, see? Then begin with the one drop again and this taken to the three drops. Then discontinue the use of this at all. During this time do not eat meats that are other than the sinew of meats, at all; preferably, however, the diet of the flesh should be only that of the sea foods or of fowl, but NOT fowl that is fried - for this will not be well with these properties. The vegetables - preferably those ABOVE ground, though potatoes may be taken in moderation.
3. As to the vibratory forces for the system, for the correction of those conditions through the digestive system and to hinder the body from creating those drosses through the non-activity of the colon, increase the vibratory forces either through that of the vibrations in action of the body itself; or, better still, take the nominal exercise - setting-up exercise - for this, and add the deep therapy electrical vibration that stimulates its the colon inactivity. Do that. Ready for questions.
4. (Q) Should the eyes be given any treatment?
   (A) The exercise and those of the clarification of blood supply will be the best treatment for eyes. Do not strain them. Well if they were bathed occasionally with a weak solution of salt water, or salt and soda combined, clarifying occasionally with the antiseptics, see?
5. (Q) Can chronic catarrhal [nasal catarrh] condition be remedied?
   (A) Clarify the blood here and you will see you are removing it! This is for the mucus producing forces of the system, see? The using of dewbell (?) [Dobell's] solution for clarification of the throat and nasal passages will assist, too - that is, equal parts salt, cream of tartar, and the active forces of same in the system, will aid with that being created by the arsenic for the blood.
6. (Q) What is best treatment for condition of falling hair?
   (A) Clarify the blood supply and stimulate the system, as is being done in that given here. [See report in 10/12/37 ltr. under his Ck. Physical Rdg., 849-19.]
7. (Q) How often should the electrical treatment be given?
   (A) Once to twice a week.
8. (Q) How long at each treatment?
   (A) Not OVER five minutes any treatment. That's actual five minutes - not guessing!
