dear eddie...
am enclosing a check for a physical reading, or check
physical i guess, since i've had them before...anyhow, the
things which worry me now are aftermaths, and i have decided
that i am tired of them...specifically my vertebrae bother
me, giving me a sore back...after bouncing in and out of dr.
offices here and there, hardly seriously, a chiropractor at
home found that the muscle in my right hip had fallen down as
a result of my knee trouble on that side, and at the points
where it is attached to the backbone pulls unnaturally at the
vertebrae, causing pain...maybe he's right and maybe he
ain't...anyhow he keeps working on me and straightening my
back and does well, but i don't get up to connecticut enough
and the trouble keeps coming back...in Washington a
chriopractor in the hotel used sinusoidal treatment on the
thigh muscle, and that helped, but i am no longer in
washington...here in new york (note the variety of my
physicians) i take treatment for my knee, diathermy and
static electricity, and it is coming along pretty well...of
late a new backache, centered just on a line with the hips,
in the region i generally suppose to be occupied by my liver,
kidneys, etc., has been bothering me...so i said to myself, a
reading is the only solution, and after a reading, someone
to carry it out: hope that such a doctor exists...
i'd like to know, then, whether the knee treatment is
correct...i think it is, because results are good and the md.
is the best at his trade of physiotherapy...and i'd like to
know what all the other trouble is about...you know how your
chest gets tired and makes you yawn and how you stretch in
the morning...well, all that has gone down to the end of my
spine, so that I relax from that point, down through the
legs...so there is something pulled out there, probably
causing the pain too.
pain is easy to endure, but the result is something of more
importance...i sleep too much and have little energy, and
that keeps me from doing much work...and as you know i do
not like that at all...so i want, in addition to a cure for
the trouble, some sort of tonic, if that is needed...my
general health is good, because i have gained ten pounds and
my appetite is swell...since getting married...and as always,
i sleep too well...
so the questions, if not answered in the body of the reading,
should run something like this:
1. What causes the pains in upper part of backbone, and how
can this be eliminated?
2. What causes the pains in lower part of the back, over the
region of the hips?
3. What makes the weariness in lower part of back, causing
stretching and more than the usual amount of rest?
4. Is the treatment being received from Dr. Kovacs for the
right knee correct, or should it be changed, or added to?
5. Is there another cause than the trouble and back for the
continued lack of energy and desire to sleep and rest all the
time?
6. What could help restore the entity to normal energy, so
that he can accomplish more work?
7. Any other advice at this time?
REPORTS

I was delighted to know that I am not badly off, and that the
remedies are so pleasant."

dear eddie...
at present i am fighting to keep awake, and i will...it is
almost a matter of life and death...i decided that something
had to be done, in conjunction with the reading, to get me
on my feet earlier in the day...so today being ash wednesday
i began to go to mass...and will go every morning at eight
o'clock, unless i am ill: naturally today i am having a
difficult time keeping my eyes open as the morning goes
along, but after a few days it will be all right and i can
get some work done...
yesterday i went to reilly's for the first time, and took the
pine oil bath, scotch douche, and a rub...egan wondered if
a special oil was intended for the rub...the reading just
said a rub with oils...it also said, sweat baths, or the pine
oil baths...does that mean both or just the pine oil?...
anyhow, previously dobbins loosened me up so that for the
first time in two years i am without a definite pain between
my shoulder blades...hope to improve steadily now...egan and
dobbins were asking about you and i said you were on the
mend...

dear eddie...
just a note to ask for a check physical reading as soon as
possible with the following questions:-
1. What effect has the removal of tonsils [GD's note: His
rdg.
849-8 on
8/11/30 advised that he have the tonsils
removed!] had in general on the system (may be answered in
body of reading)?
2. What should be treatment of itch which Dr. Tulipan has
been treating?
3. If sneezing spells return what treatment should be used to
check them again?
and unless he mentions it in the body of the reading:
4. What should treatment of knee be from now on?
5. What should be done for sneezing spells?
hope you had a nice trip back and have the garden all
planted...put down some diced carrots and succotash for me...
love...
