Then, instead of the Epsom salts Baths, that are now so
straining on the body, on those days when they would be given
give a very heavy massage over the body with an equal
combination of Peanut Oil and Sassafras Oil. This, to be
sure, will be found to be steaming, and will cause some
irritation. But as the Bee Venom has not been taken, and it
is preferred not to be mixed, then we would use these.
Massage this combination of oils all over the body, except of
course over the face and eyes and the secrets and those
portions that are tender for such.
And then, in the adjustments, give more attention to the
activity of the lumbar axis, as well as through the sacral
and to the head of the long joint of the limb. When this is
given, it SHOULD tend to STRENGTHEN and stimulate circulation
to the areas about which, through which, from which the
sciatics receive their impulse.
As to how often these should be given will depend on how
much treatment is going to be given! Twice a week should be
sufficient, IF there is sufficient movement made especially
in these areas. At such times, of course, it is necessary to
RELAX the other portions of the cerebrospinal system that
naturally become taut by the anxiety AND pain produced by
moving these areas indicated.
The rest we would keep very near to that which has been
given.
Continue the Appliance. Some Gelatin should be taken daily.
The Atomidine should NOT be given now.
Keep the diet and the activities near to that as has been
indicated.
Then, about once every two weeks, we would give the Packs as
will be indicated AFTER these have been begun here.
Ready for questions.
(Q) Should the Wheat Germ Oil be given now?
(A) Let's give this after we begin these Packs that will be
indicated within two weeks, or by the beginning of two weeks.
(Q) Is it still wise to administer the B Venom?
(A) Hasn't it just been indicated that this is not to be
used, as we have given other things now!
(Q) Would it be wise to take ocean baths now?
(A) After a rest of about four or five days, would be well -
if sand packs are given afterwards.
(Q) What type of effort should be made now to stretch the
left leg, if any?
(A) Until there is a releasing of those tensions in the
sacral, and in the lumbar areas, we wouldn't make any great
effort - save the exercise in the exercise machine.
We are through for the present.
