(Q) How can my wife best cooperate to help me maintain the
proper attitude for recovery?
(A) This must be along the lines as has been indicated for
each. For, they are necessary one to the other in filling
those purposes for which their activities are in this present
experience.
As to application, this must be according to the choice
of each. They SHOULD be cooperative, one with another.
The WAY ye know. The application YE must make.
(Q) What treatment should take the place of the sand packs
at present?
(A) The rubbing, and the heat - the ultra-violet.
(Q) Should the same number of osteopathic treatments be
taken weekly?
(A) This depends on how WELL they are done! SOME are
excellent. Some - they might as well not be given!
(Q) Any other advice for the body at this time?
(A) Do these things as indicated, and as we find conditions
will continue to improve so that there may again be the use
of the body and limbs.

REPORTS
9/18/41 EC's letter to Mrs. [
340]: "No, [
849] hasn't tried
crutches as yet, but he is better - will have to have legs
stretched, am afraid - just won't do it himself - and as rdg.
has told him it was one or the other - and would be longer
getting use of them by having it done. He and his little
family are supposed to go to Fla. about Oct. 1st."
10/06/41 EC's letter to Mr. [
1005]: "[
849] is so much better
- would not be surprised to see him up on his feet in the
next few months. He looks better than you ever saw him.
He finished the book before he left - will be ready to go
to the publisher now very soon."
