Dear Boss:-
The reading was a masterpiece, and so cheerful: it is really
true that spurts of life are running through my legs...as for
my back...wow!!!...it is sore...the masseuse comes every
other day now, and I am sure that the prediction in the
reading is not over-optimistic...we began at once with the
wheat germ, the gelatine, and the glyco packs...
Had a nice long letter from H. L. and sent him a nice long
one in return...how are you holding out, o.k.?...
Here's one letter you'll be glad to get, asks for nothing:
just an appreciation... (enclosed battery)
[
1521] has been sick with an upset stomach for two days but
is well now. How are all your folks? Do I get a picture of
Charles T?
Next week comes your congress...well, I will try to send you
a few thoughts for the folks...if you have not chosen the
subject of your open reading I'd suggest the Post-War world
and how we can prepare to help in it...what will it be like
...what will we have to meet...how can we do something to
help when it comes...
This is only my eighth letter this afternoon but my fingers
ache...you've probably done eighty...how do you get the
strength...and your readings, if mine is a sample, are better
than ever...
An old friend of mine, Nate Collier, the cartoonist, sends
me the story of Hart the Laugh King; Nate has read and liked
the book and will send for Life Readings for himself and
his wife...he was born and raised in the hometown of Hart
- Freeport, Ill... A. Vernon Hart was a jeweler until a
returning husband found his trousers in the well-known wrong
spot...then Hart left town and took up his hobby of hypnotism
as a business...as a boy Nate was a stooge for Hart in local
amateur shows...
I'm enclosing one of Nate's cartoons...love to all...[
