Dear Boss:
Just a note to ask you to include in the check reading about
my neck a question about my head colds and sinus troubles.
Also, will you have Miss Gladys call Merdiths and ask them to
send me a bottle of my inhalant COD? Since the spell of cold
weather and suspension of my swimming - although I will get
back in at the first possible moment - I have had bad sinus
trouble and two head colds. I want to know what can be done
to help the sinus condition and prevent the colds. That is
the question.
You sound very busy now. I hope you had a good time in New
York. I am looking for Colonel [
3182] today. I want to be
in good condition for this book, so I hope the check reading
will give me a balm for my sneezes. [
1102] and [
1521] are
fine and we send our love to all of you.

P.S. After coming out of the water I need a rub down and I
wondered if a spoonful of brandy would help or harm me. Will
you ask that question in the check reading also? Once before
I used a little brandy after meals and it started dysentery.
