This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 25th day of May, 1935, in accordance with request made by self, through Study Group #7, of the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Present: Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mrs. [540] and Mrs. [413].

Time and Place: 11:25 to 11:30 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va.
(Physical Suggestion)

TEXT

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [850].
  2. We still find there is not the consistency in following the suggestions that have been indicated, and in taking regularly all of those things suggested.
  3. As we find, if these will be adhered to consistently, persistently, there would be a much quicker and much better response. Taking this or that, and changing from this or that, as is indicated at times, does not work so well with the conditions.
  4. We would either do it, or do something else!
  5. Ready for questions.
  6. (Q) Why have I lost so much weight?
    (A) Not applying those things suggested consistently.
  7. (Q) What is the cause of nausea?
    (A) The upsetting of the nervous forces of the body, as has been indicated.
    For the nausea we would prepare:

      Limewater..............................1/2 ounce,
      Cinnamon Water.........................1/2 ounce,
      10% solution Iodide of Potassium.........5 minims,
      10% solution Bromide of Potassium........5 minims.

    When the nausea is disturbing, add a teaspoonful of the solution to NEARLY a teaspoonful of water (not a whole teaspoonful) and take. These ingredients may be combined in this manner, but we wouldn't combine more than the one ounce at once.
  8. (Q) What should I take as a liver stimulant to relieve system of bile?
    (A) The Caroid and Bile Salts tablets are the better.
  9. (Q) Are high enemas being taken correctly?
    (A) Not CONSISTENTLY, but these are very good.
  10. (Q) Is the tonic having desired effect?
    (A) When taken consistently, yes.
  11. (Q) Is the massage being given correctly, and is the body responding to it?
    (A) Not at all times. And it isn't responding, else you wouldn't be asking about it, would you?
  12. (Q) Is the lung clearing up?
    (A) Not as yet. There is more inflammation than there has been before.
  13. (Q) How much water necessary for drinking?
    (A) All the body may drink; six to eight ounces taken three to four times each day.
  14. (Q) Any other suggestions?
    (A) We would be more persistent and more CONSISTENT. These are not other suggestions, but the same. And if they will be applied they will make the better responses for this body.

    Shortness of breath not continually - left lung doesn't seem improved - catarrh just about same.
