This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 26th day of September, 1935, in accordance with request made by the self - through Miss [307], sponsored by Study Group #7 of the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here.
2. Ready for questions.
3. (Q) Shall I continue the same prescription, and rubbing with same solution?
   (A) We would continue for the present with the same prescription, and with the same rubbing.
4. (Q) Is the prescription properly compounded?
   (A) Properly compounded.
5. (Q) What shall I do for the dripping in my throat?
   (A) Use a spray, that would be used through the nostril, in this way and manner:
   To 1/2 ounce of Alcohol, add:

   Compound Tincture of Benzoin...........20 minims,
Oil of Eucalyptol......................15 minims,
Tolu in solution.......................20 minims.

   When ready to use, shake the solution well and pour a teaspoonful of same into an atomizer (an ounce atomizer). Then fill the atomizer with DISTILLED water. WARM this when it is to be used, not hot but warm, by preferably putting the atomizer in hot water, see? Spray about twice each day, and this will stop the condition.
6. (Q) What is cause and cure for soreness which still exists in lungs?
   (A) Use the rubs as indicated, and this spray; which will prevent the effluvia from the conditions in the head from going into the lungs, and improve same. Also apple brandy and rock candy taken about twice each day will assist in clarifying the lungs. Put about two ounces of the rock candy to six ounces of PURE apple brandy; not apple jack, but apple brandy. This may be taken as often as desired, but two to three times a day should be sufficient; just a swallow each time.
7. (Q) What causes breaking out on nose?
   (A) Those conditions from the poisons in nose. This will be aided by the use of those things indicated.
8. (Q) Is Absorbine Jr. alright to use?
   (A) Not on the nose. On the feet it would be very well, but not on the nose!
9. (Q) What causes soreness in throat, the feeling as if tongue is swollen?
   (A) As indicated. The swelling in the soft tissue in the face and nose.
10. (Q) Why is it so hard for me to respond to the treatments?
    (A) The MENTAL attitude is rather combative. As we find, however, the conditions will be more responsive to those things as we have just indicated.
11. (Q) Any further advice?
    (A) This we would do.
