This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 5th day of September, 1941, in accordance with request made by the self - Miss [850], Associate Member of the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

TEXT

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, [850]; this we have had before.
3. As we find, while there is not a great deal of improvement in some directions, there has not been the advancing of those infectious forces as indicated through the lungs. However, at times this weakness and this inability to produce the best coordinant activities through the assimilating system tends to keep a little temperature and to liven the condition in the lung and in the blood also.
4. These we would do, then, for the bettering of conditions of the body in the present:
5. At least once each day we would take the Brandy and Rock Candy.
6. Also we would prepare a keg with Apple Brandy in same. The fumes from this would be inhaled, and not this taken internally. Keep tightly corked, with two openings in one end or head of the keg. Have at least half a gallon of the Brandy in at least a gallon or gallon and a half keg - this to be charred inside, - not in just a wooden container or in glass or crock, but the oak keg burned inside, see?
7. Every other day we would also take three-quarters to a teaspoonful of ACIGEST in raw milk.
8. Twice each week we would take CALCIOS.
9. Then, as to the general exercises and the diet:
10. Keep plenty of beef and beef juices, that are well cooked - that is, the juices themselves.
11. Plenty of fish and fowl. These should be a part of the diet.
12. A little red wine taken as a food, not as a beverage, would be well - that is, of evening when returning from work, see, when resting; an ounce of red heavy wine, with brown bread.
13. Do not take white bread, nor a great deal of potatoes, nor cheese with macaroni. These DO NOT take, you see.
14. But have plenty of vegetables, plenty of meats of the character and prepared in the manner indicated.
15. Doing these, we may make for better conditions for this body.

17. (Q) What is the cause and cure for the condition of my right wrist, especially the knot on same? Also soreness in my thumb?
    (A) This is the weakened condition in the nerve and blood forces, and thus causes wens or accumulations to form in portions of the body. These as we find will be reduced with the better correcting of the body; and not hard massage but a gentle massage each day with just Spirits of Camphor. It will require time, but don't become impatient. Keep it up, and as the general health and the general conditions improve these will be aided and reduced. Rub towards the body, not from the body.
18. (Q) Breaking out on my chin?
    (A) Poor circulation and poor eliminations. These changes made should aid in relieving distress. Use the Camphor over this also.
19. (Q) Do I have any growth in my throat?
    (A) No.
20. (Q) What will relieve the condition existing there?
    (A) The inhalations, and the general aid to the circulation.
21. (Q) Is there a condition of pleurisy existing in my side; if so, how may it be relieved?
    (A) This is more a honeycomb in the lung, though at times there are those tendencies of an adherence. Thus the needs for the inhalations and the change in the digestive forces through the use of the Calcios and Acigest.
22. (Q) Are there any vitamins that I should take to give me resistance?
    (A) The B-1, but most of these will be found in the food values that have been suggested for the body. Use them in the foods, rather than taking them hypodermically or by pellets.
23. (Q) Any other foods or drinks of which I should beware?
    (A) Beware only of carbonated waters. Drink plenty of water at all times.
24. (Q) Please give me such advice that I need as to the proper care of my body.
    (A) Do these things as indicated, and keep that mental attitude ever of a constructive force; of not only being good but being good for something - in the relationships to all the entity meets day by day.

    Calcios and Acigest are manufactured and distributed by The Colloidal Health Products Corp., Atten. A. A. Nichoson, Greenvale, L.I., N.Y. Calcios is a syrupy paste that sells for $2.50 a jar. According to the Readings it is the best way of assimilating free calcium. Acigest is the best way to assimilate hydrochloric acid, or to supply it in the form needed for the digestive system - but is to be taken ONLY in raw milk. This sells for $1 a bottle.)
