Mr. Edgar Cayce,
Virginia Beach, Va.
Dear Mr. Cayce:-
I have been intending to write to you ever since you left
here, but it seems that I have had so many things to do that
I just did not get around to it.
I regret that you and your father have been sick, but am very
glad that you are both better now.
I have been trying to accomplish what you told me by dreams,
but have not yet succeeded. However, I had something last
night which looks like I might be getting hot on the track.
I dreamed that my wife and I went to Weldon and carried a
news paper clipping which would tell us how to locate what
I want, but the clipping became lost, and I intended writing
to the newspaper publishing company for another paper of that
issue, but could not find the issue so that I did not write.
Then the dream changed. Some men in Weldon with whom I am
friendly told me that they were passing the house of a
certain lawyer in Halifax in their car last Sunday
afternoon, and the attorney ran out of is house and begged
them to carry him down Highway No. 57 to see a client.
There is no highway no. 57 in this locality so far as I
know, but in my dream I thought that highway 57 was the road
which runs near the locality given in my reading. This
lawyer is very shrewd and has been mixed up in shady
dealings. Do any of these things mean anything?
I hope that I get sufficient information to go down there
by the middle of April any way. I enclose stamped self
addressed envelope, and will appreciate it if you will
interpret these for me. I have written down all of them
that I could remember, but had not done any unconscious
writing.
With kindest regards to you and the family, and hoping to
see you again soon, I am,
Yours very truly, [
