3/09/42 Letter from Mrs. [
264] to EC: "...Am enclosing P.O.
Money Order for $20.00 for [...]'s reading. We both thank
you so much.
"Mr. Cayce, we found that information about the examination
for the Internal Revenue most interesting, as that has never
been told to [
853], and Sat. he asked an Atty. who had been
there for two years and has now been transferred, if he had
to take an examination, or if it was required, and the Atty.
evaded the question, and seemed very much embarrassed, so
[
853] decided that information was not given out to any
except those whom they actually expected to appoint. And
[
853] wants to ask one or two more questions about it, and
several other questions about the other things, so he told
me to ask you if it would be in order to get a Check Reading
on it, and how much it would be. He wants to get it as soon
as you can give him an appointment. He will send you the
questions as soon as he sees the Gen. Council at the Internal
Revenue.
"[...] said since this reading is the most definite one he
has ever had, he believes he has an idea now how to follow
it up.
"He is going to try to sell the violin, too..."
