To 6 ounces of Russian White Oil as the carrier, we would
add:
Olive Oil..........................2 ounces,
Oil of Wintergreen.................1 ounce,
Cedar Wood Oil.....................1 ounce,
Kerosene Oil.......................2 ounces,
Spirits of Camphor.................1 ounce,
Witchhazel.........................1 ounce,
Oil of Sassafras.................1/4 ounce.
These, of course, will tend to separate; but shake them
together each evening before a massage is given along the
shoulder, down the shoulder blade, along the cerebrospinal
system up to the back of the neck even, down to the lower
portion of the spine. Rub or massage GENTLY; NOT as a deep
massage but a rotary motion with same, so that the body
ABSORBS the lotion for the stimulation of the superficial
circulation. When massaging the arm and the body, massage
TOWARDS the body, see, not away from but TOWARD the body.
And when massaging along the spine massage TOWARDS the lower
end of the spine, see?
Also at least once or twice a day, after the meals, take a
small quantity of Al-Caroid.
The meals would be outlined in this manner:
Mornings - citrus fruit juices OR cereals, but do not eat the
cereals AND the citrus fruit juices AT the same meal!
Coddled egg, using only the yolk of same - NOT the white.
Whole wheat toast. Postum of Sanka coffee or any cereal
drink would be well.
Noons - not so much meats, but rather raw vegetables made
into a salad; such as lettuce, tomatoes, celery, spinach,
carrots, radishes, mustard, onion and the like. These should
be preferably raw, with a salad dressing.
At least twice each week, or three times each week, we would
have a whole wheat cereal; that is, cracked wheat or rolled
wheat; not cooked TOO done but sufficient to break up the
cellular forces that the vitamins may be release for the
activity of the body, see? (This may be used when citrus
fruits are not.)
Evenings - At least twice or three times a week we would
have tripe, liver or the like; NEVER any of the fried foods,
rather let these be broiled or roasted. Not much of white
bread at any time, but rather whole wheat or rye or the
combination of these. Not too many of the potatoes in the
bulk, though the skins of white potatoes may be eaten. Have
a great deal of the well-cooked vegetables that are of the
leafy variety; any or all of these, provided these are not
with quantities of grease; PREFERABLY would they be cooked in
their OWN juices - and the JUICES taken with the vegetables,
see? Either they may be steamed or cooked in Patapar paper.
Beef juices taken as medicinal properties; that is, two to
three teaspoonsful two to three times a day, will be the
better activities for the body. Each day we would take at
least a tablespoonful of the beef juice; this doesn't mean
itself; but take it in small sips two or three times a day,
taking about a tablespoonful in all.
Valentine's Liver Extract may be taken in preference to the
liver itself if it is so desired, but this when taken should
be in small doses and taken for two or three days and begin
again. However, the broiled liver is much preferable; but
eat the juices of same that broil out of same.
Let the regular activities be outside as much as possible.
Do these; we would bring the better conditions for the body.
Occasionally we find it would be well to use the Crazy Water
Crystals as an eliminant. When these are taken, take them
for a day or two and then leave off. We must relieve the
system of the poisons but we must also, through the diets,
make for body-building forces if we would retain or gain the
strength.
Ready for questions.
We would find that for the helpfulness for the rest of the
body at night, it would be well to use the Radio-Active
Appliance - which will be MOST beneficial in making the rest
much easier. This we would use for an hour, if it is used
each day, just before retiring. If the body falls asleep
while it is attached, (attach to opposite extremities, see),
then after resting for an hour arouse the body and remove
it - and let him sleep!
We are through for the present.
