Dear Mr. Cayce:-
My son Alfred has handed to me your letter of May 7th last.
I am duly appreciative of the sentiments expressed by you,
and eager to advise you of similar reaction and would gladly
grasp the opportunity of discussion when time and place will
permit.
Answering directly your inquiry as to the reading, I must
confess that it has not sufficed for our selfish purposes.
The travels in this country of the subject have been
practically portrayed, but we have no knowledge as yet on
the European aspect, and frankly believe the information too
indefinite for verification.
However, regardless of the fact that the reading may not
supply us with the needed information, and treating the
subject from the academic standpoint, I am not lessened in my
absolute faith in the ultimate thought that a power beyond
human ken sways and controls the race and our world and the
worlds beyond, and that through the ages from time to time
there is unfolded or given to man powers not theretofore
possessed and which will go on indefinitely, and yet leave
the human race short of consummate divine knowledge, but yet
with sufficient sustenance of hope to keep us from despair.
Naturally the application will be granted to some earlier
than to the full multitude, and my observation and reasoning
leads me to believe that you are one of the advance agencies
through which the Superior Being shows his work of wonder.
With high personal regards,
I am
Sincerely yours, Oscar Englander
