5/04/37 Ltr. from EC to [
779]:
Dear Mr. [
877]:-
"Was lovely to see you and Mrs. [
920] again [GD's note: I
think they came by Va. Beach on their way back to N.Y. from
Florida], hope you had a nice trip home and that everything
is going in fine shape for you in every way. There is never
much need for me to try and say much after the reading is
given, whether the physical or the advice. Just hope how-
ever, they fit in with the scheme of things [
877-16 and
877-17] and that there were a few things at least that had
an answer in the inner self. For, to be sure, that is where
the answer must be after all. Especially are we to make it a
practical thing in our lives, and it is not much good unless
it is a practical thing.
"Know as have said so often wish to help and you have need
only to let us know when we can even try. Things are slow
with us round here, but it is very beautiful, and nature has
given us warning that God has not forgotten His promises to
man, and that it is up to us to comply with the laws of God,
would those promises be ours. Just as it is with nature, she
wakes up and does the best she can with what she has as her
surroundings and doesn't complain. It is left to man to at
time think he can improve on God's plan.
"Let us hear when ever you find the opportunity. Always
glad to hear. Hope the new office has started off with being
a busy helpful place for those that are worried.
"With all good wishes to you and Mrs. [
920],"
Sincerely, Edgar Cayce

Mr. Edgar Cayce,
% Association for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.,
Virginia Beach, Va.
My dear Cayce:
"Many thanks for your letter of May 4th. I shall keep this
letter as it contains some of the finest statements about
life that I have ever read - I know that these statements
came right from your soul.
"I saw [
261] this morning. We will be glad to see Hugh Lynn
when he comes to New York. We both are most anxious to get
the Association's finances on a sound basis, and relieve all
of you of unnecessary worries so that you may be able to go
on with your great work for humanity.
"A million thanks for the wonderful readings [
877-16 and
877-17]. They are the clearest that I have ever had and are
most helpful. It is wonderful to know that the Higher Power
so thoroughly approves of [
877] and [
1423], and you can be
sure that both [
1423] and I will "keep our ideals" and do our
utmost to serve our fellowmen.
"Mrs. [
920], Mr. [
1423] and Miss [
931] join me in very best
to you all."
As ever, [
