TEXT

1. EC: Yes we have the body, the enquiring mind, [877]; this we have had before, and those conditions and those activities of the body regarding the material, the mental and spiritual welfare of same.
2. In the physical it would be well to use a one percent Yellow Oxide Ointment for the little disturbance that is, and will appear, in the nasal passages; as well as a little upon the ear that has been irritated.
3. Ready for questions.
4. (Q) With reference to my Stock Exchange Seat, I have a loan standing against this Seat far in excess of the present market price. In my former reading you advised to sell this Seat during this month, but inasmuch as the price of Stock Exchange Seats are so low at this time, I would rather hold it for a higher price in view of the loan standing against it. What would you advise?
   (A) As we find, this would be just the common activity in view of the conditions that exist in the present.
   As has been indicated from the information given, the price of the Seat should have been higher at the period indicated if there had not been changes in activities from those indicated at the time the information was given.
   We would hold, then until a more convenient season.
5. (Q) Will there be any opportunity for me to represent the Chinese Government in any capacity? If so, would you advise me to do so? In what way?
   (A) There are, as we find, opportunities for the representation of the Chinese Government at this time. We would advise, then, to take into consideration the activities of the Representative of that Government in New York at the present time. Counsel with same, offering services for the activities in making for that which would be in keeping with the commands or demands of the Government under the existent conditions.
   This as we find may be with the British associations quite an active consideration [See 877-22, Par. R1].
6. (Q) Is my plan for the Chinese American Corporation correct? What should I do to complete it?
   (A) Through these same channels as we find there may be the better opportunities for the completing of same.
   This will necessitate, under the existent conditions, some associations or affiliations with other foreign governments or foreign diplomatic relationships to be considered in same.
   The idea is very well. The circumstances under which these arise may make for some questions, but these as we find would be well to be considered at this time.
7. (Q) Cox & Macneal, Incorporated - What should be done with this Company? Can it be made profitable, and how?
   (A) This as we find comes as a question, and unless as we find there is some change in some of the policies, these will make a very doubtful proposition. But if the basis of activities of the Corporation is carried on in the manner as has been indicated it should be (through these channels), the activities for each and every corporation, it may be. For unless there is that basically wherein an organization, company or corporation may act as an agent without selfish motives for the developing of constructive forces in the experiences of individuals, these always become questions; and if the policies and the activities of such an organization are primarily for the advancement of an individual activity or for personal gain only, again they become questioned.
   These activities in this particular organization have been retained too much for individual purposes. If the services are carried forward in the manner that the organization by its primary purpose is capable of performing, it may be made a paying condition.
8. (Q) American Seal-kap Corporation: Have I the full confidence of Mackin and Edwards? If not, how can I obtain it?
   (A) As we have indicated here, this has the policies such that with the cooperation of these with the activities of the body, it may be made most advantageous to all. As we find, there are some questions in the minds of the individuals; but this may be not nearly allayed but a greater confidence gained by the whole-hearted cooperation of the individual, [877], with the activities of these individuals that are carrying forward the progress of same.
9. (Q) Is [1256] helpful to the Company?
   (A) There has been the ups and downs in the mind of [1256] relative to the activities of the Seal-Kap; but as we find he is of helpful influence in the organization.
10. (Q) Should the Company retain Ted Saucier for publicity work?
    (A) Ted Saucier has felt there have been curtailments in the wrong direction.
    As we find if there is the ability for all to get more wholehearted, or give more whole-hearted cooperation to the activities of Ted Saucier, then we would retain the individual; for the abilities are there.
11. (Q) Should Saucier be elected a director?
    (A) If this cooperation is attained, be well.
12. (Q) What can the Company do to obtain contracts from Sheffield and Borden for New York Grade B milk?
    (A) Only show that the product fills that requirement for the use in this particular field. This will require, then, that there be some social personal activity on the part of those that are in the office of presenting the product to these individual consumers.
13. (Q) Will Ewart L. Petley carry out his agreement to purchase stock from Mrs. [1096], Frederick H. Wood, [1256] and myself? If so, when?
    (A) As we find, this depends upon the abilities of the Corporation or the activities of same to show an increase in the activities of the Company or Corporation. As we find, if those suggestions that have just been indicated are carried on, it will not only make for the desire of the purchase of same but will make for a sure consummation sooner.
    As to just how soon, this will depend somewhat upon the reports that are being made to those who are investigating it for this activity.
14. (Q) Is there anything further I can do to help this Company and the shareholders?
    (A) As we find, in carrying on in that way as has been indicated.
15. (Q) Fahnestock & Co: Is this the best brokerage firm for me and my clients?
    (A) This is a very good brokerage company, and as we find, as to whether BEST - this would depend upon what is the ideal of the entity in this direction, as well as for the associates.
    This as we find, though, would measure up.
16. (Q) Is Robert J. Davidson O.K.?
    (A) In some fields of activity; but there are some question marks after some of the activities of this Corporation.
17. (Q) Listed Securities, Inc.: How can the first $100,000 capital be obtained?
    (A) Through those channels that first were interested and have grown somewhat cold, these as we find may - through their activity secure the first necessary amounts for the activity.
18. (Q) Should an office be taken for Commander Spafford?
    (A) Not until this is a little farther advanced, yet as we find this should come about very soon; within the next two to three months. Then, of course, it would be well.
19. (Q) Where?
    (A) This would depend upon the individuals who have made it possible for the activities to be carried on, and this should be rather after counsel with all together as to the connections and associations and possibilities as may be made.
20. (Q) What investment plan should the directors follow?
    (A) That as has been indicated, as to how and the manner in which all investments that are made indicate their productiveness for the investor.
    As we find, as has been given, there are times or periods and individual activities where the investments into corporations, organizations, associations or trusteeships are for the individuals' selfish purposes, and do not make for the possibility of the investor to have more than a very meagre return, owing to the selfishness.
    All then should be investigated by the Board, and know that it is a cooperative association or organization in which investments would be made.
21. (Q) Should I take the leadership in the administration of the portfolio of this Company?
    (A) If there is the ability of the entity to increase the enthusiasm of the first investors, the first activity, first contributors to that ability of their making for sufficient activity to increase this capital, be very well. For unless there can be held by the entity the confidence and the enthusiasm of those that form the organization for making the investments, such a portfolio would become a burden rather than a helpful force for one with the ideas and policies of the entity.
22. (Q) When will this Company have funds to invest and what will be the size thereof?
    (A) This becomes problem, of course, owing to that as just indicated. And as has been outlined, if the activities are in the directions indicated, and the abilities are to increase the enthusiasm, then it would or should be within the next few months. As to the size, this would depend to be sure upon the enthusiasm that is maintained by those that become contributors to the fund for such investments.
23. (Q) [1423]: What can I do to help him, particularly with regard to his work in our office; his financial position; his health; his views on life and generally?
    (A) Only as we find is there needs be, from taking in consideration the abilities of the entity as outlined to same, that this entity, [877], furnish that stimuli for the creating within the entity's mental abilities the activities in those directions. That is, as this: There has been indicated to [1423] through this information as to his purposes and as to his activities and in what fields of endeavor these may find the greater fruition in the present.
    Then to furnish the stimuli for the entity's mental reaction to be such as to make an unprecedented effort in these directions will be that needed for making the greater development mentally and materially for the body, [1423].
24. (Q) To help his financial position; his health?
    (A) All of these become as one.
25. (Q) Laird & Co.: How can this Company obtain the financing which it requires?
    (A) We don't find this in sympathy with those activities of the entity in such a way and manner, until some changes are given, that much might be given for same.
26. (Q) How can I assist?
    (A) There must be rather a change of heart or purpose on the part of some of those that might be able to affiliate or associated with the entity in making for a productive or constructive development for the organization.
27. (Q) My Sands Point House: Is my agency contract with Talbot J. Taylor, Jr., Inc., O.K.?
    (A) This as we find is very good.
    Still, as we find, there are those associations with some of a connection with the Woolworth group, and that through these as has just been indicated. Though there may not be that activity for the handling, but the social and the connection of Ashley with same may make for the channel through which more than the hundred and ninety thousand may be obtained for these properties.
    We would work, we would feel along these line, even though there is the carrying out of same by Talbot associations.
28. (Q) Is $190,000 the correct asking price?
    (A) As has been indicated, this - a little more as we find may be obtained.
29. (Q) As Jim Ashley says that he does not handle property of this kind, what shall I do regarding the information obtained to use him?
    (A) As has just been indicated, there are still, as we find, associations and connections through these channels, though they may not be directly handled, such that there may be the influence of Ashley used in making the contact and the associations for the consummation of the selling of these properties.
30. (Q) Should I advertise in the magazine Fortune?
    (A) This is a very good channel, but as we find this would NOT be necessary if all of those channels indicated are carried on.
31. (Q) Should I offer my services to the Securities Exchange Commission in Washington? If so, how, when and through whom?
    (A) These as we find in some little different associations have been maintained heretofore.
    As we find, this may be done, as a motive or as a purpose or for a connection or association. This should be weighed well within the mind of the entity before any particular move is made in that direction.
    Remember, those purposes, those desires that have been indicated should be the motivating influence in the activity of an individual in making associations or connections in ANY organization or ANY field of activity.
    As has been indicated, the abilities of the entity and the functionings of the mental abilities, the mental purposes, the mental activities, have fitted, do fit the entity for such an association, such an affiliation; but if these are done for purposes that become selfish in ANY way or manner, these become detrimental forces rather than constructive.
    Would be well, though, as we find to offer. As to through whom, this must naturally go through the connection with the treasury organization of the U.S. Government. Then these would be through those that are affiliated or associated in such manners as to make for the proper introduction or proper connection being sound in every way and manner.
32. (Q) Should I offer my services to any other Government service? If so, how, when and through whom?
    (A) This would depend. There have been questions that become crossed in these. If the entity is to represent some particular government in its associations and dealings in connection with another, then to be able to make for activities through this special Government wherein there are the needs for all of the cooperation, all of these would be well to be considered.
33. (Q) Please explain the source of the information given in these readings. Is it my own self-conscious mind?
    (A) As has been indicated, this comes from these:
    Conditions as regarding activities of organizations, groups or individuals crate a spirit or purpose or desire; and in the reading, the interpreting of those purposes that are a part of such organizations, the information is obtained.
    That individuals in their activity and their associations at times change their minds or their purposes, or become overenthusiastic or overindulgent in one way or another may change the direction to which the activities are indicated.
    Hence the greater portion may be from the purposes of the individual seeking; for the information may only go as high as the abilities of the individual to fit into the activities of such organizations, corporations; for that is the height of the purpose, the desire, the abilities of the individual's activities.
    Hence these may fall short owing to changes that may arise in the experiences of the individual.
    This may be specifically indicated for the individual in connection with the Seal-Kap Corporation. Here, as has been indicated, there were individuals that were contrariwise, yet their activities and their enthusiasm of some who were at a height at one time have cooled. These then show that the information as given at the individual time is as that as has been indicated.
34. (Q) Why is it that much of the information given in the past regarding my Sands Point house, my Stock Exchange Seat, my business opportunities, etc., has not worked out as stated in the readings?
    (A) As has been indicated. As regarding the Sands Point house, these have become rather - throughout the whole experience - as a one-track or a one-individual proposition, when the information has indicated that this was as of an ASSOCIATION - NOT as an individual, until the individual became a part OF the purpose of those attempting to make for the creating of an individual activity!
35. (Q) What is my specific mission and objective in this material incarnation?
    (A) As to the specific mission, this has been dwelt upon at some length. As to what is the purpose, this is determined within self, by the choice as may be made. For until there is the choice, this may not be told. For there is in truth, as has oft been given, ever set before thee day by day life, death; good, evil; choose thou.
    The activities of an individual entity through any given experience are to make the paths straight. Where there have been the misapplication, mis-conception of the activities of Creative Forces in an individual experience, then it is the correcting of same. For each soul is the image of the Creator, with the abilities for the use of the purposes within its own opportunities and abilities to become a companion with, a co-worker with, the Whole.
    That is the purpose. If it is made to be selfish or self- indulgent or self-aggrandizing, all of these we find as patterns in the experiences we may see about us day by day.
    Then knowing the way, construing that which is constructive, USE that in hand; not unto the glory of self, not unto any activity other than that the Father may through thy experience and association day by day be magnified in the hearts and minds and souls of the fellow men.
    For as ye do unto the least of thy brethren, ye do unto thy Maker.
    That each soul then in each experience is to show forth, indeed, the Lord's death till He come again, IN the minds and hearts of those ye meet day by day!
36. (Q) How may I best accomplish this and best serve the Father and the fellow men?
    (A) Studying to show thyself approved unto Him day by day. That is, what is thy ideal? What have ye set as thy goal? What is thy purpose?
    That ye may make a show of self, or that ye may PROVE in the hearts and minds of those ye meet day by day that God is the Father not only of those in lowly places but those in high places? That the SPIRIT of TRUTH must permeate EVERY activity, every dealing with thy fellow men, if it is to be a CONSTRUCTIVE thing in the experiences of mankind!
    It becomes, as has been indicated, an individual application; yet unless the spirit of same permeates throughout the whole, it becomes a Frankenstein - it becomes that which would devour thee.

   Thanks for yours of the 22nd and the reading - it is extremely interesting and helpful. It always takes several studies and deep meditation to get the full good from these readings and I know that I shall get "pearls" each time I dive in. One thing seems clear - it is all up to the individual as to what he gets out of this material experience - each has the Father 100% with him and as each sows so shall he reap and if his foot slips here & there he can rise up again and like the prodigal son, he can return to the Father & know He is ready & eager to greet him as His Son.
   From now on, I hand over all my life, my affairs - everything to the Father and ask Him to handle everything, take charge of me, my mind, my body & my affairs and direct me in service to Him and my fellow men. I will put ALL my faith in HIM and do my best each day to act speak & think as HE directs and leave everything to HIM. Not my will but HIS!!!    Just want to remind you, and don't mean to be a pessimist. But you will remember that Peter the rock had much for a time to meet when he did just as you have done. Yet, he eventually came through to where the very keys of the kingdom were given into his hands.

   Dear Hugh Lynn:
   Many thanks for your letter of December 20th. The reading on the work [254-96 on 11/21/37] of the Association is most interesting. I particularly like the direction to develop first the individual and then the groups, etc. I am convinced that the quickest and most effective way to convince and help people is through the channel of individual experience with your father's readings. No amount of literature, lectures, broadcasts, books, etc., etc., can possibly take the place of an actual experience in obtaining information through your father with the inquirer actually present. In my opinion, this should be the definite policy of the Association, and I feel that if it were followed all the proposed group activity, literature programs, lecture programs, etc. would take care of themselves, and no doubt would be planned and even financed by the individuals having the experience, and then dedicating themselves to helping others have similar experiences. No doubt you have all come to a similar conclusion as a result of the reading of November 21st.
