(Q) What glands in the body are particularly affected?
(A) The glands in the liver, the adrenal glands, those in
the caecum, those about the lacteals.
Do these things as indicated, as we find, in addition to that
being applied. The Ash three times each week, followed soon
after - in five to ten minutes - with the ultra-violet ray,
half portion on chest or frontal portion and half portion on
the cerebrospinal system - especially from the brachial area
to the 9th and 10th dorsal area. These will make for a
stimulation without irritating the conditions in the blood
stream, and aid the organs under distress.
(Q) Should the mineral oil and other properties being given
for elimination be continued?
(A) They should be continued, as indicated. These should be
continued. What we have given is an addition that will aid
the body in recuperating and build for that in the system as
to not only produce resuscitation to the disturbed forces but
revivify the activities generally.
After sixteen to twenty-one treatments, then we would give
further instructions.
We are through for the present.

BACKGROUND
4/08/35 Wife obtained a Physical Reading for their son,
Mr. [
881].
4/15/35 She was present, saying Mr. [
894] was in the hospital
and had been for some time.
REPORTS
6/11/35 Wife, Mrs. [
882]'s letter: "Several weeks ago Dr.
Townsend [M. L. Townsend, M.D.] of the Chevy Chase Sanatorium
where my husband is, wrote to The Reilly Service and enclosed
ck. for $1 for the 'Animated Ash' - he has heard nothing...
I am anxious to have Dr. Townsend start the treatments."
6/14/35 EC advised she order it from B. H. Bradley, Chicago.
8/22/35 Mrs. [
882] requested Physical Reading for herself.
9/05/35 Dr. Townsend's ltr. to Mrs [
882]:
Dear Mrs. [
882]:
The treatment next Tuesday Sept 10 - will complete the number
specified in the instructions. So far as I am able to
determine he [
894] is in very good physical condition but I
see little difference in his outlook - I mean he still
insists on the same ideas he has had. Recently I have just
been making him do some things he has always insisted he
could not do - For instance one thing - in taking his light
treatment he has insisted he could not lie flat on his back
and I have made him do it. I expect he don't like me so well
for it but I hope being more firm will be for his best good.
Sincerely, M. L. Townsend
Wife's ltr. requested a second Physical Reading, "hoping
something can be found to clear up his mental state."
9/17/35 See
894-2.
