This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton Ohio, this 9th day of May, 1925, in accordance with request made by self - [900].

TEXT

1. GC: You will have before you the body of [900], of ... St., New York City, and the reading [900-64] of April 23 [28?], 1925, in the afternoon, and you will continue with the answers of the following questions, as I ask them, regarding these, in such a manner as to be understandable to the mind of [900]. You will also have the dream this body had on Tuesday night, April 28, or early morning hours of Wednesday, April 29, 1925, at home in bed, as I read same to you, and you will give the interpretation of same and the lessons to be gained from same, in a manner understandable to the mind of [900].
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. We have had this before, you see, with the readings as given and the lessons and understandings that should be gained from the information as given here. Ready for questions.
3. (Q) Now, due to certain conditions in the entity [900]'s childhood, and also due to the study of what the Earth terms the "Supernatural," or the "Super Man" or the "Spirit", the Entity, [900] is often uncertain, or even lacking in courage. Give that which will stay this detrimental condition, that which will make the Entity better understand and feel at home - at ease in the creation and of life and conditions that are unfolding before or in the mind of the Entity.
   (A) These conditions and elements as the body and mind desires are the results of growth and persistence in the way of development, and may not be attained by any given rule or order. The response to the unfolding of manifold questions as regarding training in childhood, study or meditation, all find their answers in development in the inner man and are but the reflections of the study, for as man reflects and studies conditions, circumstances, each desires that that will be the sign, the wonder, the manifestation in a material form, while in spiritual thought, in spiritual development, as has been given, no sign shall be given a stiff-neck generation, for those having eyes see not, having ears they hear not, "lest I come and heal them." Then they that would seek (which includes [900]) must believe that He IS and is the Rewarder of them that diligently seek Him, for as has been said of old, and as has been given to the entity the abilities for the co-relation [correlation] of every element as has been given in the world as religious thought and study, may be co-related [correlated] and given to a waiting and dying world, through the efforts of the entity [900]. That he comes with fear and trembling, let the answer be as was given by him of old, "Harken unto the call and answer, Here AM I LORD. USE ME" for in the service of Him there is joy, peace, understanding, brotherly love, and those that make the wondrous, glorious life in service to man, for the greater service to man is service to the Creator, for ALL is HIS, and the lending to the fellowman in understanding is service to the Creator. DO That.
4. (Q) The dream as had on Tuesday night, April 28th, or early morning of Wednesday, April 29th, 1925, at home in bed, was as follows: "I was riding horseback and held the horse by a short rein, which when I pulled to steady the horse caused the beast to rear on his hind legs and nearly dismount me. As I gave the horse his head I seemed to ride easier - more smoothly. Then something happened - I yanked back the reins and was nearly completely thrown off, but finally managed to steady myself and again giving the horse his head rode on in a smoother fashion."
   (A) This as we find, with the study of the spiritual elements and environments of the entity [900], will be understandable to the mind of the entity better in the study of those verses in the [Book of] Revelation, pertaining to Horse and Rider, for as has ever been in Urim, the Horse and Rider [represent] the messenger for the waiting world, and the halts and checks those of the indecisions in the entities themselves and is but the warning as the forces may be manifest through the entity, and the entity then should so labor and study to show self approved as the Messenger, the Representative of the Master. In that the Father chooses to use this channel for His representative in the earth at this time, then heed those forces that would prepare the entity for that way in which he may serve his Lord and Redeemer. Just as was chosen in the days of old, when the law-giver [Moses] received those instructions in the highest tribunal in physical learning and thus prepared to give same to the Chosen People through the dictates of the inner communions with the God within, just so THIS ENTITY has been prepared through training in physical planes, and is being drawn out from those conditions wherein the cry may be raised, "Can any good thing come from the Street? [5/22/25 See clarification and expansion uder 900-73.] Can any force give spiritual understanding that seeks to make monies in such channels?" The Father has chosen the weak things in life to confound the wise. Then BE THOU WISE in thine day, and as through the ages thou hast been prepared, be that messenger that will carry on the wings of morn the message to the peoples seeking the understanding, the co-relation [correlation] of the Father with His peoples.
