This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 27th day of August, 1925, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [900].

TEXT

1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [900], of ... Road, Deal, N.J., and the dreams as this body had on the dates which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lessons of each of these, as I read same to you, and you will answer any questions which I will ask you regarding any of these.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body-mind here, and the dreams as have come to the body. These, as we find, are given for the more perfect understanding of those laws as are being studied by this entity, and as are seen, are given to be studied in that way and manner that will be wholly acceptable unto Him, who makes the compliance with a law THE law, see? Ready for dreams.
3. (Q) Early Tuesday morning, August 25, 1925, at home in Deal. Inner voice: "You may practice your kindness to one right close to you." Then saw [136], my wife.
   (A) This, as we find, is as given, the voice from within giving the warning that this must be made in every manner an acceptable and a conscientious undertaking to the entity, and as it were, a feasible and workable condition in and about everyone, just as is seen in the one closest to the entity, or as has been given, every good gift begins with that closest to one, working outward, see?
4. (Q) In a classroom. I was seated at a student's desk, [137], my brother, was at the blackboard drawing. There was the man teacher. [137] had drawn certain lines or diagram. I thought of a previous Stock Price dream of "58-108." "What stock does that refer to?" I asked. The teacher indicated [137] at blackboard. I seemed to direct [137] or direct the addition of certain lines to his drawing. Then I asked "When will it reach 108?" "It will do it all this week," the teacher replied, and I further directed [137] accordingly.
   (A) This, as we find, is in that direction of the subconscious forces weighing with the superconscious or Universal or cosmic forces those conditions that are presented to the body in a manner showing, as it were, studying certain lines, see? Lines, directions, as are being drawn, [137] as one who is drawing or directing, as it were, those lines. This, then, in its meaning, of two separate and individual, or of many individual stocks, see, as is seen, for these refer to those in which [137] has been and is, and [900] is, engaged in the sale of, see? Then, when those points reach that 58, see, close the contracts, see? 58 or 57 & 7/8, as has been seen later - to that point, see? The 108 - all of these will come within this week, see? The 108 refers to other that [137] has been drawing conclusions, and [900] has drawn conclusions on, in their operations, for this week only. Act, then, upon those, see?
5. (Q) Does this refer to any specific stock that [137] is long of?
   (A) Rather that on which he has been making a study of, see?
6. (Q) What specific action (buy or sell) does this indicate [137] and I should take with respect to this or these holdings?
   (A) As given. Close contracts at 57 & 7/8 on some stock that has been given, see? for as is given, all changes, all laws are subject to other laws as guide and direct same, same as law of electrical force or of gravity, subject to other laws controlling same, see?
7. (Q) What does "58-108" mean?
   (A) As given, see?
8. (Q) What does "It will do all this week," mean?
   (A) Means these will all happen in the week, see?
9. (Q) Give that advice and counsel that this dream permits of that will aid [900] in his direction or aid he gives his brother.
   (A) These are as given, see? and following in those ways as have been given, for the entity to use such information as and when given.
10. (Q) Sunday night, August 23, in Asbury Park, at the St. James Movies. Dreamed fitfully as I occasionally dozed off. Each time dreamed of croquet and then some words or action follow. Saw croquet wickets and ball, then [4167] just missed, then hit the stake, then again saw myself try to get through 2 wickets and then saw myself strike the ball with croquet mallet. After first words: "Trying to make someone else do right." Second saw stick their fingers spitefully up to their nose. Third seemed to be a gateway or some place I desired to enter but could not. Lastly saw [136]'s mother (my mother-in-law) with a box of candy for us.
    (A) In this we find many various phases of the same condition, that of reaching a goal through various channels, and the perception of individuals' actions toward same in their attempt to belittle that which the entity would or could attain through the studies of same, see? In the end finding that which is as presented, in the manner and way as the goal, or reaching that to which the accomplishments of the success of all force bring to the entity. These, as we see, then, the physical laws presented in subconscious force of the spiritual nature of the law, see?
11. (Q) Monday morning, August 24, at home in Deal. Saw Mark Eisner's tall figure towering over Helene, his wife. They were singing hymns. That is the way he made Helene do it.
    (A) This, as we see, a figurative interpretation of using force of any nature to succeed in bringing desires, either physical or of spiritual interpretations, see? and as this condition presents to the body, [900], that condition of force of might used against that force that would be good, or that would be gentle, or that would be kind, or that would be any of the cardinal virtues, see, may be weighted down, as is seen by a force of either nature, see? Then as a warning rather than any force directed.
12. (Q) Saw Elliott Sanger, an old friend and very bright in his college days. I went to college with him. I said - (Mr. Cayce interrupted here. Rest, presented below, not read) [to him: "I can't write because of my poor spelling. It is terrible." "That is nothing," he replied, "You have seen my spelling. Look at it - Words for Words, etc., etc." "Yes," I said, "It's even worse than mine, and I felt consoled.]
    (A) (Interrupting) This, as we find, again the presentation to the entity of how self is being raised through the study of the laws as guide, guard and direct the Universal Forces, and as these show the presentation of study by those whom in the physical the body considers as of brilliant, as success, in that showing the attainment to which the body is reaching, even do not gain that success as is acquired, seen, felt, or understood of those whom the entity views, see? Then keep in that straight way which brings the better understanding and the application of same.
13. (Q) Thursday morning, August 27, 1925, at home in Deal. Regarding [137] drawing lines - 57 7/8.
    (A) This, as we see, coincides, or gives that same condition as we have seen, see? Closing contracts then 57 & 7/8 - [137] - [900], see? - this week -
