(Q) Saturday Morning, September 12, 1925, at home in Deal.
A new telephone instrument was installed at my desk, and if
properly dialed, one turn could reach Detroit from New York.
However, great care had to be taken in the use of this
instrument, as the dial consisted of several divisions or
layers, and if these divisions were not used all together,
Detroit could not be reached, rather the instrument would go
wrong if the dials were separately used in a confused manner.
I went upstairs to tell Sidney Wormser about the instrument.
He showed me many of his - one in particular, like a
telescope. "It is not your instruments I am talking about,
Sidney," I said, "It is your use of them."
(A) This, as we find, is that interpreted, the new forces
as are being put into the hands of the body, the mind, of

900], and the lessons as is seen in the telling of the one
who is or has been as a criterion for particular operations,
shows the advancement as is coming, does come, has come, to
the body, [
900], and the entity then should, as is seen, use
the care, the attention, necessary for the correct operation
of those forces as the entity may apply in daily life and
in secular forces, and in an understanding manner. Then,
study those conditions and use same aright, that the goals
may be reached by the entity, see? for, as we would give
in plain or in secular manner, the telephone and the new
arrangement meaning the new manner in which the entity may
gain information from various places, to Detroit meaning a
given center, a given force, a given center of
commercialization, and the various ways of using same to
prevent or to cause entanglements is seen and must be
recognized by the individual, for with the correct use of
same good way come, with the improper the turmoil, the
distress, the incomplete connections, see?
(Q) Then I saw a girl I thought I remembered. We seemed
to be in a big room with many people now. I said to her:
"You don't know me anymore." "Let me see - yes I do,"
she replied, "You are the boy who went through Columbia
University." "Yes," I confirmed, rather flattered, "but,
(kind of sheepishly, although for no real reason) I didn't
go all the way through. Do you understand how to do that?"
I asked, indicating a ladder and ability to climb it.
"O yes," she replied, "I know all about that," and she
proceeded to lead the way by climbing the ladder, which
seemed to lead up the side of the house. I followed her
and we climbed to the top, then swung horizontally on the
ladder across the roof. Then we started down the ladder
head first. At the first floor window (top floor) she
entered, and the idea was to somersault back to the ladder
again and continue the upside down descent. It seemed a
situation similar to a dream I had recently regarding [

and the ladder. I grew frightened and managed to tumble into
the room through the window, but was too frightened to go out
of the window again onto the ladder. I descended by means
of the stairway, taking a couple of steps at a time. At each
landing I noticed the open door to a little flat. "That is
the advantage of a home," I reflected, "Funny all the doors
are open - but I guess they do that in a tenement house.
It's mighty fine to have a nice home!" Back in the room
again I said, "I have to make a train. Isn't it funny -
the 8:20 on the (?) R.R. gets in ahead of the 8:05 on the
(?) R.R.?"
(A) This, as we see, the continuation of the usage of those
lessons as are being gained, and in the application of same
we find the entity with that force of learning, as is seen,
known, acknowledged by others as having been attained by
same, gives the incentive for others to follow. Then, as
the ladder is mounted, this showing the ascent to which the
entity may attain, yet with fear as is seen in the following
of the form of the figure that leads the way. This then is
to be studied and as the subconscious mind reasoned with self
in the ascent and descent, yet as is seen, the venture must
be made for the entity to gain or to put in use that gained
in the conscious or subconscious or cosmic forces, for all
force is as the one, and the application being the difference
or change as is given to the various force, see?
(Q) Then I was playing croquet with my Father. I had only
about 3 more wickets to get through to complete the game.
"Almost through," I said. But no, there were still 3 hard
wickets to make. Then I saw a R.R. train pull in right in
front of me.
(A) This, as we see, a combination of the various forces,
of the various truths, as are being manifested before the
entity as an experience in the various phases of the
phenomenized life and given in emblematical forms that
the entity may better gain the lessons as are to be seen
in these.
In the first we find that of the physical in a physical
action, with goals to be made, with wickets to be run, with
the spirit force as is manifested through the vision of the
guide with the entity itself. The attempted effort is seen
to be hard, see? And the ball representing the world forces
as apply in the one Universal force. The train, again coming
to that of material, meaning these forces, through these
channels - Railroads - Stocks, there should come those helps
to the entity in material forces, yet all must be guided,
guarded, directed aright, for we come to the same injunction
as may be seen in that as given: "How hard for a rich man
to enter the kingdom of heaven," for as would be the
interpretation as given, how hard for him who would satisfy
the desires of flesh to understand and interpret spiritual
forces so as to apply same in a physical world.
