This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 5th day of October, 1925, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [900].

Present: Edgar Cayce; Mrs. Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. % Block, Maloney & Co.,

TEXT

1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [900], of 74 Broadway, Office Block, Maloney & Co., New York City, and the dreams this body had on the dates which I will give you, and you will give the interpretation and lessons to be gained from same, as I read same to you, and you will answer the questions which I will ask you regarding any of these.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind of [900]. These we have had before, the dreams as come to the body from time to time. We are ready for dream.
3. (Q) Thursday Morning, September 17, at home in Deal. "Voice seeming to refer to the market: 'They are going up!'"
   (A) This, as we can understand from that as has been given, the ones as have been seen and given in those already referred to, have acted in that manner. Not fully to the extent as was seen as yet, but with the understanding of this voice, which is seen now and understood as the various forms acting, see?
4. (Q) Voice again: "She is not perfect. Why do you want her so?"
   (A) These all then refer to that writing as is being accomplished by the entity, see? and this is as the warning to same that this must be carried forward in the more perfect understandable manner.
5. (Q) Friday Morning, Sept. 18, 1925, at home in Deal. "Saw [140], Horace, [137] and myself. [140] said to Horace Block: 'You should see Cayce - you'd enjoy it.'"
   (A) This, as we see, the co-relation [correlation] of the physical with the subconscious, but in the manner wherein the entity sees that as is manifested in the double manner. As the entity speaking represents one class of individuals as have their understanding of that being gained by the entity, and one spoken to represents another, given the lessons then that the entity should make that line and distinction for self wherein both may be made compatible to the conditions as are presented, see? for all force one, and the manifestation or the exemplification of is in the minds, the mental proclivities, all partake of spiritual force, show and manifest that being presented or represented by the development of that entity.
6. (Q) Does this indicate any course of action [900] should pursue in his relation to Cayce with regard to Horace Block?
   (A) As given.
7. (Q) Explain how best to handle such situations.
   (A) These must, as has been given aforetime, be the workings of one's own development and of one's own mental forces, see?
8. (Q) Horace Block, Christian Science and [900] in relation to events that may come. What had best be [900]'s methods of procedure with regard to these?
   (A) As given, all force is one and must be handled and made effective by the manner each presents to the individual, for their manifestation or exemplification of their conception of the force represented, which is God, see?
9. (Q) Friday Afternoon, Sept. 18, on train N.Y. to Deal. "Do not break in dynamite."
   (A) This, as has been seen, the presenting to the entity of that condition wherein the entity had to control self in the outbursts that the entity felt must come from that said to entity to cause the outburst of temper. Handled very beautifully. You remember this very well. This happened, we see, on the afternoon after, or evening after this happened in afternoon, see? - 18th.
10. (Q) Friday Night, Sept. 18, at home in Deal, or New Year's Eve. Voice called: "[900]! - Have I given you all of this?"
    (A) This the answer the entity must give to that call from within to that spirit that gives the motive force for that being gained by the entity, and is as of old. The answer should be "Here am I, Lord. Use me."
11. (Q) Voice again: "[900]! - You must raise them up - then leap over them, so to speak."
    (A) Just the answer as has been given, that the entity has that message that would raise Israel, and others, up to that condition, position, place, wherein the greater service may be rendered, and in lifting up be lifted, even as the Master was lifted through service to man, for though He the Son of man became the Savior of those for whom He suffered, see?
12. (Q) Saturday Morning, Sept. 19, at home in Deal. "I sent my letters that I am writing to Dr. Alan Bierhoff, my old friend. Through him they were sent to some magazine he knows of or has connection with. I received my reply from the magazine in form of a letter offering me $150 for the letters I am writing and to publish them. I showed the letter of acceptance to my mother saying, or indicating to her: 'You see, now, all my efforts, work, were all worth while. My work has been accepted - they even are paying me $150. Of course I will give that to charity or to our Association.' It seemed then that this channel, Alan Bierhoff, proved to be better and more successful than that of Horace Block."
    (A) This the showing to the entity through that spirit force, co-related [correlated] with the cosmic forces of the entity, the conditions wherein the entity may physically, mentally, carry on those elements that would bring the conditions for the entity that would be satisfying to all. The price as seem merely representing to the entity the satisfaction as is seen, and as has often been given would be found in presenting such as is seen in satisfaction of informant to the mother of the acceptance and the offering as would be made by entity. Then the lesson would be rather that the entity develops, has developed, to the point wherein these are being presented in no uncertain manner. Then why delay?
13. (Q) Does this indicate that I should reach some certain magazine with my letters through Alan Bierhoff? Which magazine and when would be most opportune time?
    (A) Now.
14. (Q) Would be reached through Alan Bierhoff?
    (A) Would be reached through Alan Bierhoff, as given, and now. The accepted time, when the spirit forces have moved and brought that co-relation [correlation] of the force to the entity to present same, and showing how same would be acceptable. Magazine such as have been given, see?
15. (Q) What does this indicate in relation to my writings and Horace Block?
    (A) The variation of that position as is held by Horace Block and that as is held by the others that are seen, for as is seen in Bierhoff, there is presented the different condition to the mind of [900], see? from that as is presented by the mind of Horace Block. One a hedged about, the other an opening, a presentation; truth sought, one truth closed.
