(Q) Sunday Morning, Nov. 8, 1925. Now I beheld a vision of
many beautiful women, all dressed in different colors, but
they were not women after all but Lights - beautifully
colored lights, which I interpreted as Spirit Entities. They
appeared before me in line. There seemed to be one
particular shining light that I knew was my Father. Then
[
136] said: "[
900], why don't you turn out the lights,"
meaning the electric lights of our room. This I did and
behold my Father appeared in bed with me. Now I was at the
head, he at the foot of the bed, but although I seemed to
recognize his physical form, yet it was not as I had
previously seen him, but in this same manner of a Man -
light, the color of which was like the Sun. I burst out
crying and wept bitterly at my Father's nearness. The light
flickered a bit and many things flashed through my mind all
at once, as this: It didn't do any good to cry - didn't
help my Father, and why didn't I talk to him, instead of
crying. I said to him: "I love you." The light flickered
again and I thought, "Maybe he cannot understand words," so
I put my hands to my lips and child like blew him a kiss,
motioning with my lips whispered: "I love you." Then the
light took the shape of my Father's head and out of his
mouth came the words: "I love you too, [
900]!" The light
came nearer to me - up towards my end of the bed and
unwraped a package and on the inside of the paper wrapper I
beheld my Father's handwriting. I could distinguish the
signature "[
5769]" as my Father wrote it and although I
could not make out any of the contents of that written, I
recognized the handwriting. At this my emotions very nearly
again overcame me - I was very close to my Father indeed.
Then the box inside the package came to my view and being
opened by my Father revealed four chicklets - chewing gum
pieces. "Take one," said my Father. I did and it tasted
very good and as I chewed he told me to take another. I
did. There were still two left. "Follow me," said my
Father and I saw the light upon the Wall. It was flat like
a mirror reflection, yet not perfectly round as I first
thought, but had shape. I cannot now in my conscious
moments recall the symmetry of that light on the wall, but I
do wish I could. It had shape - but how shall I describe
it? What shape was it? I remained in bed regarding the
light - my Father's Spirit. The Voice: "[
900], follow your
Father." I got out of bed and followed the light. It
traveled along the wall - sometimes leaving, taking shape in
the air - from room to room, finally into the kitchen. Then
I lost track of the light - I was left in darkness, seeking
my Father - seeking his Spirit-Light.
(A) In this we find the entity entering into that Border
Plane wherein the physical forces of the body, the mind, are
gaining those conceptions of the fourth dimension conditions
through that being given by the Father, for as is seen, this
is the beginning, or entering in. Then this may be given,
that entity may through self acquire that perfect
understanding for self regarding this condition as
experienced, and may apply same in own words, see?
The seeing of the Father giving then that assurance of the
perfect truth being presented. The seeing of the light, that
guiding and directing light as was given from an altar light,
and as is seen by the entity now, the light represents that
force, that directing force, as would lighten the way to the
entity to gain that more perfect knowledge concerning all
forces as manifested in the world, see? Then the light same
as that of the almond (?) light from the altar. The Spirit
of the Father, the nearness to that light, the directing way,
comes from the voice from within, that superconscious force,
the Spirit Forces of entity, guiding the mental forces of
this body, [
900], to follow that light as is being presented
to the entity. The seeing of the chewing gum, the seeing of
these taking forms into the four, the four dimensions being
now presented to entity. The form chewing gum, or chicklets
[chiclets], presenting then that which must be chewed, or
taken as the message, for the entity to gain the more perfect
knowledge of same, see? Then, as the entity takes these, in
this light studies these, in this form, making then, as it
were, as this: The light, the Guide, see - the Spirit
Father, that of the entering of the fourth dimension, the
self being emptied then of self, takes that position, or that
manner in which self may draw nearer unto that as would be
given by the Father, see? In those Spirit Forces, those that
are held near and dear in the earth's plane - attempt not to
reason these by those of a physical condition, but of a
spirit element. Little by little, then, will the gained
truths come to the entity, for "Seek and ye shall find."
(Q) I was returning from some party - it seemed I was coming
through a lawn of a fine estate. [

140] and others
were at the party. I was still seeking the Spirit-Light of
my Father and his guidance. Above all I had in mind that
given in [
136]'s dream, that my Father would reveal fourth
dimension life to me. I sought that, as I yet do, above all.
Then I emptied the contents of a bottle of whiskey I was
carrying from the party and I smelled the alcoholic fumes.
The Voice: "Not in such an atmosphere will you ever find
your Father." Again I was in the dark room seeking my
Father's Spirit-Light.
(A) In this again we find the forces manifested to the
entity as are seen from the body-mind attempting to
co-relate, through conditions as are presented, that being
sought by the physical mind. As the returning from party
with others indicates the entity sees that of the social and
filial life. That of the party representing then the social
functions of the physical life. That seeing then of the
whiskey and emptying of same, and the answering or speaking
of voice as heard, "Not in such will these be found," entity
then realizing, little by little, little by little the entity
gaining that special, or that sense of direction in the
seeking, for as has been give, the truth of many forces, of
ALL forces, are seen more perfectly manifested in action than
in seeing what is done by the action - see? As is seen, the
entity gains the fumes from alcoholic stimulants, see? As
the spirit of same floats away, as the entity recognizes that
in the co-related physical mind as being of alcohol, or that
which would deaden conditions to the physical mind, releasing
in part a spirit force that is of a nature not combined with
that of the fourth dimension understanding, as given. The
seeking, still the entity on that bent trend wherein as is
given, "As ye seek, ye shall find." Little by little, there
is being added to the entity's understanding that necessary
to gain the full concept of the truths being given to same,
that same may be given to others, for in service, in
application, in action, do those truths prove themselves,
for as is seen, the entity in seeking the Spirit Guide of
Father, bring self to that attitude wherein those cosmic
forces of Father may present themselves to the subconscious
forces of entity, see?
(Q) But something happened then. Behold I was naked and
able to fly in graceful fashion through the air. Others too
seemed able. First, I watched the others, gracefully
traveling about, here, there, everywheres. "They are
really Spirit Entities," I thought, "and their flights
represent their Universal Energy, but my physical mind must
see them as men, otherwise it can't understand." One of
these men dropped upon his head, and got right up and
gracefully flew again. "See," said the Voice, "Not a
sensuous Being - He didn't hurt himself at all." Then I
tried and started to fly - it was wonderful - gracefully
floating through the air - but I had work to do - some
purpose to perform as had the others, and I descended
through the roof of a house to find men committing a
burglary. "Oh," I cried at them, "Life up here is so
wonderful - so much is in store for you - what you are doing
is not worth while." Then pointing my finger at them from
my position upon a ladder, I said: "Thou shalt not steal.
Thou shalt not commit murder, thou shalt not commit
adultery, thou shalt not commit fornication, thou shalt not
bear false witness, thou shalt love thy neighbor as
thyself." They cried, "Hypocrite!" at me. "You have done
these," they cried, and chased me out of the house. I ran
panic stricken to another house, where I found a gun and
hiding behind a table awaited their arrival. Someone
entered and I shot at him repeatedly. Leo Meinhard, it was
who entered, and approaching me, dressed in his tuxedo,
laughed as he said: "Here try another shot - hit me here,"
pointing to his abdomen.
(A) In this we find still the entity gaining, little by
little, the concept of the mental mind, the physical mind,
the spiritual mind, as pertaining and relating to those
conditions that go to make up the perfect understanding of
the fourth dimension laws as sought by entity. As is seen
and recognized by the entity, the entity then overcomes,
sees, overcomes those physical laws as are recognized in the
material world, that conditions materially may have place and
be used for material individuals, beings, conditions. The
entity recognizes those forces, as it also recognizes that
spiritual element able to float through, pass through
physical conditions, as mind passes through space, as known,
see? Then, as the entity recognizes that being committed in
the physical, without bearing the direct spirit to those
forces that would give the understanding, begins then to
quote to the individuals those physical laws pertaining to
spiritual conditions, same as is shown in the lessons as are
given. These pertain to physical effects and not the force
created by the action itself, see? Then, as is seen, the
entity when accused of being guilty in the flesh of those
conditions, flees - fear making the body, or physical mind,
incapable of understanding, comprehending fully the spiritual
laws as have been made manifest to the entity, and as is
recognized in individual bringing particular or direct
accusations, and telling the entity to "Shoot here, stab
here," showing the direct condition through which the entity
must gain that force necessary to reach the perfect
understanding as pertains to same, see? That is, as this:
As the fear creates in the entity, that the accusations as
brought brings entity in that same connection, then force is
attempted to be used, and as the other entity, upon which the
entity seeks revenge, says "Shoot here," there is seen the
action of same, incapable of acting upon the spiritual force
as is seen, see? Then gain the full knowledge and seek out,
as has been given.
(Q) Leo Meinhard and I sat down to a table and he told me a
funny story, at which we both laughed heartily.
(A) This a continuation of those conditions which enter in
to show the entity how the joining-to of physical forces,
physical, mental application of conditions as are viewed,
see? for as is seen by the entity here, without having known
those conditions that makes the story entertaining and
laughable, the story would not have been laughable to the
entity, see? Without having known, then, the perfect laws,
not capable of an understanding of the perfect laws, not
not capable of reaching to the forces of spiritual law,
without having experienced that necessary to bring same into
the minds and into the comprehensions of the entity, see?
(Q) Again I felt my Father's presence - didn't see as before
- but felt it - still seeking. The Voice: "Chicago
Milwaukee - 69 - 75."
(A) This again the same forces being presented to the entity
as is seen in the lessons as were gained through the
spiritual forces of the contact with the Father guiding.
The same spiritual forces may guide as pertaining to the
physical condition and actions, would the entity but gain
that necessary understanding to apply one same as the other
is applied, and just as capable of gaining the meaning of
numbers as applied to various stocks as of gaining the
necessary influences and necessary laws and understanding as
pertain to spiritual law, physical law, moral law, and ALL
law - and its applications, see?
(Q) Upon awakening I thought this must mean Chicago
Milwaukee and St. Paul R.R. - the preferred stock of which
is selling around 19. I wondered if the dream meant this
stock was going to 69 or 75. Again went to sleep and had the
following:
The Voice: "Chicago Milwaukee - 55." Then much detail was
given which I have forgotten. Presumably it was about the
reorganization of the St. Paul R.R. - its completion and
going into effect and the going up of the stock."
(A) This, is as given, the presentation to the entity of
those conditions through which there will come those
understanding as the entity gains that as given, see? Then
we will find, see, will come in the same manner, see?
Figures then representing those conditions being presented,
or being set in motion as spiritual laws, see? not that
entity should attempt at the present to begin with these,
see - but that entity should study these two, then combine
their lessons in this action or this stock, for through same
much may be gained, as is seen in the action of the numbers,
see? for physically there is seen 19 to 55 - 69 - 75, see?
(Q) What do these numbers 55 - 69 - 75 in two different
dreams relate to - bonds or stocks of the St. Paul R.R.
(Chicago Milwaukee & St. Paul) - and to which stocks, common
or preferred?
(A) These, as given, refer to conditions as, when
understood, the entity will be able to apply same; not
beginning as yet, see, for as seen, there are many mix-ups,
many changes, many combinations - then these rises begin,
see?
(Q) Voice: "You should buy those sugar bonds, it has been
given before, you should buy." I replied: "That is right,
they are going up, but I must wait until Monday morning to
buy them - stock market doesn't open until then, but I'll buy
them right away, soon as possible."
(A) This, as we see, was given to the entity on September
29, 1925, as regarding American - Cuban Sugar, see? and the
entity should watch same, then buy at the prevailing price,
for the advance in same is shown to the entity.
(Q) Which specific bonds are referred to and should they be
immediately purchased? For what price?
(A) That as given, see?
(Q) I saw the funny section of the Sunday newspaper. On the
top section of this was information about Sugar Bonds. Mrs.
Cayce or I was taking a reading, Edgar Cayce lying in the
Psychic State. We read from the funny page a passage that
seemed quoted on this page, from some magazine - "Literary
Digest" it seemed, although I'm not sure. The quotation was
from some essay, something as follows: "A tingling feeling
came all over me" - etc. At which Edgar Cayce in the Psychic
State spoke up, interrupting in solemn manner as follows:
"What's the matter with you - not feeling good?" At this I
roared with laughter and thought: "There is humor in this
psychic work too - fellow ought to laugh too sometimes."
(A) This, as is seen, gives to the entity that full
condition as pertains to that as is seen on funny page, the
sugar quotations as were given, see? That as is seen as
quotation from essay in funny paper, that as is seen, funny
paper, Digest, all are of a oneness and each necessary in
its own individual place or niche, and as is recognizable by
the entity, necessary in every way that that necessary
laughter, gladness, be the message of each entity in every
manner - not the long faced fellow that gets way, see? One
that can give the best through the pleasing countenance.
We are through for the present.
