This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 18th day of January, 1926, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [900].

Present: Edgar Cayce; Mrs. Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.

TEXT

1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [900], of Apt. ..., ... St., New York City, and the dreams this body had on the date which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from each of these, as I read same to you, and you will answer the questions which I will ask you regarding same.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [900]. This we have had before. The dreams, as we see, the co-relation of the conditions existent in the physical mind, co-related with those experiences of the subconscious mind, and give to the entity those lessons that may be applied in the life, as regarding conditions relating to the entity. Ready for dreams.
3. (Q) Sunday Night, Jan. 17, or Monday Morning, Jan. 18, 1926. I was out riding on a wheel. I was riding [137] on the handle bar. My mother was along too. It also seemed that [brother-in-law] was along. We were riding on 110th St., just entering into Central Park. A storm came up - I saw a black cloud. I tried to rush to make it home. My brother-in-law said to me, "Here's a telegram, showing how we in the South feel about the market," and I saw the stock ticker; the stock was going down. They were breaking badly. Then I was riding again. It started to rain. I was peddling along to make 101st St. where I lived.
   (A) In this we find, the physical mind with the co-relating forces as are seen in the conscious and subconscious forces, that which gives to the entity that impending condition as exists regarding the way, the manner, that self and those associated with same (in dream) may act in regards the impending conditions, as are seen in the dream, regarding the condition of the stock, see? for as seen, the entering as of the park, the entering of that break as is to be scattered in many places, or many various stocks scattering as to the down grade, or falling off in price of same. That is, the seeing of an individual telegram, see? reports from people; that is, the various investigations, the various conditions, as will be acted upon by various groups in different parts of the country, will have the effect upon individual stocks from time to time, making some much lower, some going higher, or holding own, but the general off trend or break of many various stocks, until at least February 3rd, when, as a cloud MANY will find breaks, see? especially those that pertain to South and West utilities and concerns; that is, business in those portions of the country, see? These are general - not specifics, as given, see?
4. (Q) Does this indicate a general break is yet to come in the market? When?
   (A) As given, the general - until about February 3rd, when a sudden (or cloud) break, when there will be much scurrying for shelter, as the entity sees self attempt to peddle back to safety.
5. (Q) Voice: "General electric much too high."
   (A) This, as we see, the indications that the selling, or the shorts as have been sold, indicate the price, and that this stock (General Electric), with the general demoralization, will go off, see?
6. (Q) Does this mean the stock is selling much too high to be bought?
   (A) Selling too high to be bought.
7. (Q) Does it mean that it is going to react in price a great deal from the present selling price?
   (A) Going to react a great deal - going off around February, see - the first weeks.
8. (Q) Does it mean that many have already sold the stock, with the intent to put it down, believing that it is selling too high?
   (A) As given, the stock selling too high will go off, see? Not just at the present moment, but selling too high to be bought, see?
9. (Q) May they not be run in?
   (A) May be run in before the general break, see?
10. (Q) Should I sell this stock for a much lower level, at the present selling price?
    (A) A little later we would - not at the present.
11. (Q) It seemed that we were all at some party. My mother-in-law was pairing off a couple, and she gave me a very old lady, and I was glad, for I had one with a great deal of experience, that I could learn something from, particularly regarding the stock market. After dinner, cordial was served and I noticed [137]'s partner was beating him up and he seemed in a great deal of trouble. It seemed it had some connection with the stock market.
    (A) In this there is seen that, as the entity has learned the lessons by past experiences, and now as the time approaches, self and brother, to whom he may come to the assistance of, needs to apply that lesson as has been learned in the new way. That is, old lesson, see, applied in the new manner.
    This, as we also see, may be applied as concerning those conditions as existent where investments have been made, that now stand at some little gain. Then, be rid of same, that in the general down trend as is to be seen, the worry of same will not bother. Or, these may be forgotten, as it were, entirely, and in that great swing upward later in the year, this may be found very much in the way as has been given.     Now, we find there are presented here those conditions that may be worthy of study and consideration by this entity, and this also should give a greater expansion to the conception of the entity's understanding of phenomenized forces in the physical world.
    First, there are in the earth's plane, at the present period, time or age, many whose experiences in the various sojourns in the earth's plane are being given the opportunity, as it were, to manifest again, see? especially those who at this period in the history of the world will bring many radical changes in the history of world, during this especial period, when the ennobling influence in Jupiter is at such a height, and that adverse, that contrary wise, or that ennobling, or that changeful condition is about to be exercised through the influence of the Uranian mind as is in the earth's plane, and as is to be manifested, beginning near February 3rd, see? and as these influences are seen, these, as we see, will be many of conditions as will be seen in the earth's plane after that day and before December the 23, 1926 (as known in time):
    Many good in many unheard of ways and manners will be presented to the peoples of this country.
    Many peoples in high places will be convicted, in thought and mind, of hindering man, or of taking advantage of place and position.
    Many people in low planes will become exalted.
    Many peoples will distribute large sums of money, who have not been considered of a philanthropic nature heretofore, to those conditions for advancement of man, of the stability of man's indwelling in the earth's plane. Many religions, fanaticisms as unheard before, will be heard of during that period.
    Many exciting and active conditions will take place on the exchanges. Many rabbles will be created in financial circles that will have influence for much time to come.
    Many changes will be made in the manner and way of locomotion; that is, transportation facilities.
    Many great combinations, as has been seen heretofore, will break up. Many more will be formed, combining greater combining forces.
    All these, as we see, will have their effect, directly, on that element in which the entity, [900], is interested at present.
