(Q) Sunday Night, Jan. 31, or Monday Morning, Feb. 1, 1926.
A noise in our house as of a chorus of people. I saw
Mr. [...] [father-in-law] fall to the floor, shaking with
fear. Then I heard the concerted noise of another group of
people, and going out to our hall, I beheld many pounding on
the floor to-gether, with hatchet sort of affairs. Mr. [...]
frightened, lay upon the floor. I ordered the chorus of
people to cease their activity and they did. I then
commanded that they disappear. They hesitated. Turning, I
saw Father [...] quaking and shaking with fear on the floor.
I turned back to the noisy intruders and commanded: "When I
command you, I want obedience. Disappear and cease your
noise!" They disappeared and the noise ceased. Mr. [...]'s
normal mind was resumed. [Rest of dream not read - about
leaving the earth in a mental state much like that in which
he has communicated with his father - couldn't find his room
or bed or get back in his body - "I'm lost." The the Voice:
"Now you are close - close to God." He finally awoke scared
to death.]
(A) In this vision there is given the conscious forces that
of a tangible physical condition as exists in the action of
the body-mental towards PHYSICAL condition as exists in the
physical body, when racked by pain, fear, or disease, by the
various conditions of which the flesh is heir, and with this
noise, with this pain as produces this, brings the condition
as is viewed by the entity, and as self is seen commanding
the dispersement of those conditions as produce this
condition in body, then the fear that is seen is that as
the rending of the body, as the trouble disappears and the
command is as seen, in that when commanded, must be obeyed.
Same command, then, as comes to the entity, in that as how
the laws as pertain to the destruction or dispersement of
distress in a physical body must be applied to self in the
attainment of same. When God speaks, the command must be
obeyed. Keep self, then, in that manner of obedience, would
the entity bring the greater conditions to self, for, as is
seen in the vision that follows close with this, when the
entity loses self, catches a vision of self being separated
from home, from room, not knowing self, yet seeing self, and
hears the voice speaking to, and the entity gives self as
ready to be commanded, as in the inner self, or God, speaking
to the entity through self.
Then, as the entity has drawn the various conclusions, as the
different phases of life are presented in this vision, then
may the entity KNOW the FULL intent and purpose of each, by
following out those laws as govern such condition.
First, there is seen, then, in how that fear enters, in
making the physical body that of the breaking point between
conception of that as is attained by the entity. Then there
is seen how that it presents self seeing self. Self again
hearing the voice, and the willingness to command; yet, as is
seen in that portion of the vision, "WHEN I COMMAND, I EXPECT
TO BE OBEYED," and the entity complied, NOT in self, but
DEMANDS in others.
Then, make self more rational, in that way and manner that
SELF will follow in the way as directed, and as the study of
each phase of existence, and of the explanation of those
conditions as are projected, the entity will gain the greater
conception; for, as is seen, each phase of that the entity
attempts to explain to self is presented in the vision of
noises, of [father-in-law], and of the command to CEASE, and
brings to the entity the clear understanding.
Then, bring to SELF, IN THIS SAME MANNER, that clear
understanding; putting then away the FLESH, and the desires
of same, making self amenable only to those tenets of that
answering voice that SPEAKS TO the entity, and in the STILL
QUIET there will come that ray of light that gives peace,
joy, and quietude to the entity.
