This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 8th day of February, 1926, in accordance with request made by self - [900].

TEXT

1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [900], of Apt. ..., ... St., N.Y. City, and the dreams this body had on the dates which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from each of these, as I read same to you, and you will answer the questions which I will ask you regarding same.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind of [900]. This we have had here before. The dreams, as we see as come to the body, are of that nature as has been given would come to the body from time to time, and may be used in that way and manner as has been given for the body.
3. (Q) Thursday Night, Feb. 4, or Friday Morning, Feb. 5, 1926. Was driving or riding in an automobile across a wide and what used to be fine thorough-fare, but now, because of some building or excavating or subway digging was full of holes and bumps. It seemed to be 106th Street across town, and I noted I R T trolley and the tracks. Someone warned me of the danger of this street and as I rode over it, slowly I said: "Don't worry, they wouldn't let us ride over it if it were not safe." Still we were jolted.
   (A) In this there is again seen that presentation to the entity's mind for study, those conditions as regarding these stocks, of these utilities and subways, and as seen in this, these are reached, or have reached, that condition where, with the change, with the differences as has been given regarding this, there will be some uneasiness, some indications of bumps; some conditions wherein there may be as the warning of these conditions that would cause trouble with same; yet, as is seen in the entity's vision, unless these were safe, they would not have been presented to the entity from time to time, and when the time arises, and which this must be arrived at by the study as would be made of same by entity themselves, there may be made the gain by the holdings of such securities or stocks.
4. (Q) Then I saw Central Park West where they were digging the new subway, and saw the construction work and said: "When we take another automobile ride - going to Atlantic City - I am going to use this Avenue. Other avenues, namely Broadway, with the subways and trolleys appeared to me. 'No,' I said, 'I'll stick to Central park West and go that way.' Then I beheld a slightly down grade of trolley and train tracks, a level run, and then a long steep up hill grade, climbing high. I seemed to be riding over these tracks but in an automobile."
   (A) This, as we see, still that same presentation to the mind for the study of same, and as will be seen, this shows how that there will come these declines, though they are all on the up climb at present, see? selling off, then, for the time being, and when that time arrives, or near that time when trips would be begun to be made to Atlantic City, then we will find the rising of this to a gradual much higher level and plane, see? for, as there have been seen in gradual decline, and as these come then to this level wherein the stability is created in the market from these changes as will occur, then we will see the rise in same.
5. (Q) Three definite stocks represent this class: 1 - "Third Avenue" now selling at about 41 and has had an extreme rise from 17. I have been told by another this will go much higher - very much higher than 35. Will it, as here indicated?
   (A) As seen, these conditions as have been given, and as are for the study of the individual, should be made as such.
6. (Q) "I R T" now selling at about 36 and is up from about 24.
   (A) Selling off, as we have seen in these; each and everyone of these three definite stocks selling off at the small decline, causing some worry, or some unrest; then going to the higher levels, see?
7. (Q) Are these stocks here indicated as a purchase even at their present prices?
   (A) At the prices as will be seen about the 12th or 13th of the present month; yet these may be studies by the entity themself, see? and through that as is arrived by the study of same, with information as has been given, with that as is viewed and as is felt from within, act in that manner on same.
8. (Q) Then came the automobile part, Hudson Motors was selling at 150 (now at this writing actually selling at about 115) Ben Block, Eddie Rosner and others, including Meyer Half, all told me it was going up to $300 a share. I believed them and bought some Hudson Motors at $150, but as I had received instructions or information on this stock from my own subconscious self, I decided to get in touch with Cayce about it to have it interpreted. Then Ben Block appeared in the booth, before what seemed stock quotations, showing up in different electrical symbols. He kept insisting Hudson Motors was good for $300, and I looked behind the glass booth to see Cayce. "Is it going up to $300?" I asked Cayce. He motioned his head "No" and put up 2 fingers and made signs indicating the price of 250 to me." "Well," I thought, "250 is enough and since Cayce's interpretation agreed with Block that Hudson was in for a big rise, I was satisfied and bought more stock." Turning to Ben Block, I said, "Hudson is going up alright." He said nothing, watching the quotation board. "I can't understand that board you have here," I remarked. "I can't find Hudson Motors on it. Guess its going up, isn't it?" "No," indicated Block, "The market is selling off." Now another disappointment, the stock well recommended in physical and given as well from the psychic source as going up to 250 now was selling off from 150. I held my stock and hoped the reaction would end, feeling certain my information was certain and sure and in the end would prove true.
   (A) In this we see there is presented to the entity, for the study of the entity, those various conditions as have been presented to the mind, and now these have been correlated in the subconscious in such a manner that the entity may gain the full concept of wherein the understanding of the information as has been given has not been followed in a way and manner as would bring always the better results in financial gains from same.
   As is seen in this, we find that the study of same shows the indication that there has always entered in this much of the physical conditions, and the action of physical conditions as regarding information obtained through psychic forces, and psychic forces irrespective of physical conditions have not always been regarded. Hence, then, the correlation of the two, as is seen, these bring about this condition wherein the entity may act in the physical in that way and manner as to make both in that channel wherein these would bring the better results.
   As is seen in Hudson Motors, these will be off, and then rise and off again, going near the 200 mark, see? 225 - 235 - 237 1/2 - and breaking.
9. (Q) What is here meant by this example of just about what has occurred in the market - i.e. we are short the market on just such authentic information and it is going against us very, very much?
   (A) Just as given, that the entity should study these conditions, for as given, this has been presented to the entity in this form and manner, that which has been happening, just as given, see? Then study same.
