(Q) "Back into the book store again and through a partition
came a snake. They told me his fangs were cut out and that
he wouldn't hurt me, but his sight was hideous and loathsome,
and I sought to escape him by dodging to the other side of
the partition, but I no sooner got around than his hideous
head was there also. This performance was repeated several
times. Finally I succeeded in gaining one side of the
partition, as the ugly snake was crawling in the opposite
direction. All this time I felt hedged in as one in a
telephone booth. I wanted freedom."
(A) This, as given, the continuation of those same
conditions being presented, as is seen in that of box and
the feeling of that someone else in error, yet when the
return to the study, as to the book store, there is seen this
seething, hissing, monster, that presents loathsomeness to
the entity, in the form of self's own condemnation of self,
and as the entity attempts to get away, or to elude this
monster, though told by others that it cannot harm, yet the
entity finds self afraid, and self following or hindering
self; yet there is seen this escape by finally obtaining
position in place where the knowledge may be obtained for
self's application of lessons gained, see? Now, as we see,
the application of all this comes to this one point to self -
that is, as many lessons as have been given the entity - that
is, that the knowing to do good, and not applying same, comes
to self again as sin, or error. The application of truths
that are gained from time to time by entity, the delay often,
the too quick in action often, is as but self's attempting
to elude the serpent, as presents loathsomeness, distress,
treachery, to the entity.
Then, to overcome same, the entity must awaken to this full
consciousness that the application of desire is to put that
in action that is know - that is, "As the hart panteth for
water brooks, so pant I after Thee, Oh Lord, my Strength,
my Redeemer." In this there is seen a great deal of
difference in the "I know, oh Lord, Thou art mighty in Thy
ways, blessing him whom thou wouldst bless and giving succor
to him who would call on Thee." In gaining the variation in
the application of these two truths, as may apply in the
life of this entity at this time, the entity gains, then, a
concept of the working, the manifestation, of that Universal
Force, that has brought that Oneness of purpose, good that
is brought, and then THROUGH this consciousness will NOT
bring condemnation, or those conditions wherein there is
felt that the loathsomeness of the serpent minded
individual, or individuals, are seeking to devour. See?
(Q) Just what condition does the snake represent?
(A) That as in self, as has been explained.
(Q) How may I get away or discard it?
(A) Gain that knowledge, that ability, that consciousness,
of the application in the two truths as have been set before
the entity, and IN the application of each, for in self there
comes the answer for every purpose; for, as is known, and as
has been gained by the entity, that the knowledge of self
being a portion of the great Whole, or the Universal Mind,
God, Purpose, Good, Oneness, and that inasmuch as the entity
allows the reflection of that Whole to penetrate, or shine
out FROM self, the greater force may be applied through same,
see? for, as has been known, and as has been seen, and as is
understood, just when the Master came to the full knowledge
of the Father, God, and the ability of man, physical, to
apply same in the material world to every condition, the
temptations of the world appeared to Him and beset Him about;
just so THIS entity, as he gains the sight, vision or concept
of that Oneness, finds that HE is beset by the many at
varying conditions in the physical life, which may be
presented or put in terms of those same great temptations as
were given the Son of Man. Remembering, then, "Upon WHOM
the Son of Man depended, do I likewise."
(Q) Yet physical suffering due to loss and want is bound
to hedge the soul in. Physical responsibility, although
transitory and not essential to the achievement of Spiritual
development, is nevertheless playing a part in this
development - is meant to of course, yet how may such
material pressure be turned to spiritual good?
(A) In that same way and manner that the entity knows
that the physical is a reflection of that from within, for
thoughts are deeds. Mind is the builder, and as the
conditions arise in the life, in the physical or material,
these are reflections of that not whole, or whole, or
entire, or portion of the thought, the concept, as is gained
to that point.
Then, as the physical is a reflection of the thought, direct
the thought, the intent, the purport, the concept of the
mind, to that FULL at-oneness with the Spirit concept and
the Spirit action, for, as is said, "The silver and gold
is mine." When the concept is at a one purpose with the
Universal, these will be supplied, for the BUSINESS of man,
made in the image of the Creator, is to do the biddings and
leave the results to the Creator, for in the MAN attempting
to CREATE results, these become material and carnal, rather
than the result of the spiritual thinking, see?
(Q) "The Voice and physical reasoning - Voice: 'Sold out
stocks! Well, now they will rally up - rally - rally -
rally - yes, but that is all they will do - rally, no more.
A good rally after the SEVENTH.'"
(A) This, as we see, is the physical concept, WITH the
subconscious reasoning of the entity, of conditions as are
to become existent in the days to come. These, then, as we
see, will be presented to the entity from time to time, in
their various conditions, and as the entity gains the concept
of same, see, and knows that this is wholly of that inward
concept and not material, same may be applied to the physical
ACTION of the material man.
(Q) Does this mean the market will have little rallies
followed by big stock price drops until April 7, 1926?
(A) This condition has been presented to the entity, and
from same the concept HERE of the physical mind is obtained,
THROUGH the conditions as are presenting themselves at the
present time. Then, this, as we see, will be the result -
rallies, and then inroads or drops again, until the 7th -
12th, see. Then we will find, as has been given, that the
criterion, or that that is to be adjudged by the entity as
the pilot, or the light, or the directing stock of the
conditions, will be presented; for, as we find, there WILL
BE, now, soon, as great a swing upward as there has been
downward; not reaching, perhaps, quite as much of a soaring
- that is, not gaining 15 to 20 points in a day - (yet MANY
we find will even do this) - but as a GENERAL condition; yet
gaining - gaining - gaining - AFTER this lapse, and lapse,
see? until many, many, will be quoted even at higher figures
than have been presented for the year.
(Q) What will happen on the 7th?
(A) This, as we see, might be termed as a turning point -
from 7th to 12th, see.
(Q) How will Stewart Warner fare in meantime?
(A) This, as we see, will be ONE of those that will gain
much, going to the 89 - 90 point - 95, as has been given.
(Q) And Stewart Warner and Hudson Motors after the 7th of
April?
(A) After the 12th, we find a gradual increase, see? until
sometime in May, or in May may come the greater increase,
see - dependent upon the quotations upon that as is to be
given out by the action of many combinations as have been
made.
(Q) Thursday Morning, April 1, 1926. "United States Steel
110."
(A) In this we see there is again, as has been given
aforetime to the entity, that commodity, or that stock,
that is to be as the pilot, or as the criterion for
quotations as will be seen, see? and as this goes up or
down - now in the general reports as we find as have been
coming, and as are coming from this, that the mills are
working full time; yet we find in many places this to be
untrue, yet in others these are true, and the orders and the
prices are advancing, and we find also in these that there
will be the quotations as given, or conditions as given,
that the division of bonuses in various portions from steel
will have its effect. These then, as we see, are to happen,
BETWEEN the PRESENT and the 7th to 12th of the present
month, and the various conditions as are to happen with the
various stocks will be adjudged, or will be carried, or will
be held in obeisance by this condition as happens with the
steel quotation, and with the condition, and the entity
should be GOVERNED then, BY same, WITH that as is to be
presented TO the entity from time to time. See?
(Q) Does this indicate a slump in U.S. Steel from the
present price of about 121?
(A) Rather that this is as the indicator for the judgement
of the entity, and as this happens, appears or comes about,
we do not find it falling off to this point, though there
may be some slump between now and the 7th, which we see,
between now and the 7th and 12th, as the turning point for
the advances, see?
(Q) Does this indicate another deflation period in the
general market?
(A) SHOULD this begin to fall off, the general deflation
may be expected.
(Q) When will this deflation period begin? How long will it
take for Steel to go to that price?
(A) This we find as an indicator, rather than as that this
is to be the actual occurrence, for these quotations, these
conditions as are given here, will be as quotations from
time to time, and as the conditions are presented, and as
the indications are seen, then this may be used as a PHYSICAL
criterion for the entity.
(Q) Will this be the mark at the end of the deflation
period?
(A) We do not find it as a deflation period, other than
as has been given, in that the rallies and the falling off
- the rallies and falling off to the 7th, see?
(Q) Hudson Motors never got to 90. How will this be
affected by this deflation period? Stewart Warner never
got near the 95. How will this be affected? What will be
the action of these two stocks, during this period, beginning
with Saturday morning, in the light of information given to
us on these two stocks?
(A) This as is given. The Steel prices are to be as the
guide, and as these deflations occur, or these rallies occur,
we will find that as long as the Steel holds to its price,
or advances - though others may fall, or others may go low,
they will rally, as long as Steel holds price.
As WE see, there is to come, for Hudson Motors, Stewart
Warner, some deflation again, to at least 72 - 74, yet
these will begin, by the 7th to 12th, to advance.
(Q) There has been a rumor of a big failure. What effect
will that have on the market, if any?
(A) In rumors there is often brought panic, and this proves
to be very detrimental to individuals, mentally and
financially.
In these rumors, as affect this individual directly, we see
that, with the application of those truths as have been here
presented, into the attitude of self and self toward the
whole, and to the position desired by the entity and by
others, that the customers will rally to the support, as
the desire of the entity is toward such.
Then, in love, in kindness, GAIN the access of those who may
assist and help through this period, for we do not find that
this will be of material hardship, would this entity keep
WHOLE that attitude as has been outlined; for, as given,
thoughts ARE deeds, and may be miracles or crimes. In rumors
there are thoughts expressed, and these must run their
channel, or their ways. Then, that thought as is guided,
directed, toward the destructive forces of the RUMOR may be
overcome, for GOOD MUST PREVAIL. It is known and felt and
seen in the hearts of all. The way may appear dark and hard
to be understood, but the bright and glorious dawn is near
at hand.
