This Psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 25th day of April, 1926, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [900].

Present: Edgar Cayce; Mr. [900], Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.

TEXT

1. [900]: You will have before you the bodies and minds of [900] and [137], in relation to all matters that pertain to the development of these bodies, regarding dreams that will be presented, and also regarding matters pertaining to the psychic work and matters financial. You will follow the trend of the thought of the mind of [900] regarding any of these, answering questions that the body will ask. You will speak slowly and distinctly.
2. EC: Yes, we have the mind of these entities here. This we have had before. In correlating the conditions as exist, either from the financial standpoint or from the study of the phenomena as is presented through psychic work, or through visions and dreams, this point must not be lost sight of - the varying conditions as to the development and the ability of development of each. One as a truth that may be gained for self, and in the application of same to others see the manifestation of same. The other the ability to develop, would the entity gain that full intent and purport for the development and application of same in self's own life. Ready for questions.
3. (Q) This morning, before the reading, it seemed some form or face was in this room. It appeared so to me, yet only for the flash of a second, even as a flash, appeared before me just a few seconds ago.
   (A) There are always many entities about this room, or others, would entities in same be able to gain the concept of same. Then, wont not to be unmindful of the presence of those forces as are manifest in the physical world. Abuse not - only use same in the way and manner as is in keeping with that presented.
4. (Q) These entities always in this room - explain that to this mind.
   (A) In this, this is as apparent to everyone. When any force is being manifest that connects any two great forces, there is the movement of every energy pertaining to same. In this same sense, when there is that from the Universal Forces being made manifest, everyone that may attempt through that connection with earth's forces to express itself, then when another entity in that same region, why may it not gain some knowledge of the presence of such, by being in that attunement to forces being made manifest? or, as may be presented in this: We are all hedged about by those forces that would help or hinder, depending upon the use put to each, or, as may be seen, Universal Force is that manifest of the spiritual force in the material plane, and those in that plane that have attained only to that of the first connection with the spiritual influence, as attained by themselves, give off that same emanation - that is, as producing a presence, a flash, a consciousness of an existence in the physical plane, see?
5. (Q) Then, the energy manifested in the bed that shook sometime ago, was actually an expression of a consciousness that had changed from the sensuous to what we call the fourth dimension consciousness?
   (A) Correct.
6. (Q) Dream of Thursday Night, April 22, 1926. Voice: "You think Norfolk is weak? (my impression this meant Norfolk & Western R.R.). Then this number presented - 84 or 184 - not sure which."
   (A) This, as is seen, the body conscious mind presenting that concept of the condition as has been stored in same regarding Norfolk & Western Railway, for a presentation of that which may be attained from subconscious sources, and, as is seen, this presents the advance, in that though there is seen these are as even numbers, yet 8-4 represents 3 in its final analyses, so we shall see the advance in this stock for 3 days, see?
7. (Q) Friday Morning, April 23. Numbers as follows: 96-97- 98-99-106-107-108, each number seeming to present a change and become more emphasized at each change, especially around 106-107-108 mark.
   (A) Again that presentation of that as is seen in the psychology of or psychic force of numbers in their relation one to another. This, as we see, will represent then that change, when this figure has been reached, of that as Hudson Motors stock, for when the advance or rise begins, we will see these figures passed in their respective order, IN their relations one to another. Even though now represented at the 76 mark, in their general advance there will come in this advance that same relation as numbers seen here represent, in the weak and strong points, for, as seen in 7-6 will bring a weakness - not as 7-4, yet 7-5 - 7-9 equals greater strength, same as is seen in the 106-108. These give higher or greater strength in their relations, as are seen in numbers. Study same then in the light of that trend as has been and is being gained in the mind of both these entities as are presented here, for usage by each in their respective manners, as has been given.
8. (Q) Night of April 19 or morning of 20. "Saw a trolley car and Irwin Berliner. Some reference to tractions."
   (A) This as has been given. Follow Berliner in the sale of those traction - Interborough, etc. These, as seen, do not show their gains as others on account of the reports as have been current. This entity bearing that position of being on the inside, as it were, through many various conditions that have presented themselves, is as a criterion, as it were, in this particular stock.
9. (Q) In relation to the property in Virginia Beach [35th Street home of Edgar Cayce which they had offered to purchase for him.], will you advise how best this tangle should be approached, and what the entities, [900] and [137], in connection with Edgar Cayce, can and should do at the present time, taking into consideration the financial difficulties of the two presented?
   (A) In this, these conditions have been approached from many different angles. In the way and manner then as has been given. This offers an opportunity for investment. As to the tangle, in the straightening of same, there will be seen that these conditions, in their natural course, will take care, as it were, of themselves. That is, as this is straightened now, in the next five to six days, then in the interim there will come that necessary for the taking care of conditions as they arise, for each will find that those conditions necessary for the better development of each, in the mental, in the financial, in the spiritual manner, will be added in same.
10. (Q) [137]'s, April 22 or 23. "I went into a drug store along Central Park West. There was a woman doctor in the store and she treated a sore toe for me. As she finished she rubbed some salve on my toe and remarked about the salve being tortoise shell. When she finished this she gave me some kind of a pill and as I was very weak she had a man escort and help me home. While I was in the store other people were eating ice cream and sodas."
    (A) In this there is presented, in this emblematical manner, that condition which becomes as a common slang "sore toe" to the entity - the digestion and the stomach. The woman representing then as a lesson, or as a guide, that the entity should NOT partake of too much sweets that become as tortoise shell to the digestion, especially to the blood supply. Rather apply those vibrations as have been given, in a systematic and in a serious way and manner, and there will come the aid, the strength necessary for the body to overcome conditions as arise in same; adhering rather to that kind, class, of diet as has been outlined. Much of the meat JUICES, without the meat. The strengthening necessary from mild stimulants, as iron, beef and wine, and the stimulant of the spirits fermenti [frumenti] and sugar, or eggs and spirits fermenti [frumenti]. This will bring the better conditions for this body.
11. We are through for the present.

REPORTS

1. 4/26/26 EC's letter to Mr. [779]: "...I possibly should have written you yesterday, as I received your letter Saturday, but [900] came down Sunday morning, and we had a set-to with the real estate people. I am in hopes that we have gotten things started in a way that means permanency in the work; that is, I think we have made arrangements where we will have the nucleus of a permanent organization in owning a home here. [900] has been mighty hard hit in the adverse conditions in the market, but it's a wonderful thing, [779], to see a man that just little more than a year ago had no thought whatever towards his responsibility to his fellow man, nor the love of God, nor scarcely knew what the Christ life meant, but to see that man now, though in his position, trying to live a Christ-like life, acknowledging Him as his Savior, and as his elder brother. It's wonderful! It makes me feel mighty little, mighty incapable of the trust that has been put in my hands. I just pray that I may do the right thing and use it in the right way, so as to bring the greater blessings to all those who may seek to gain a better understanding of themselves and of their relations to their fellow man and to their God..."
