This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 27th day of September, 1926, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [900].

Present: Edgar Cayce; Mrs. Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.

TEXT

1. GC: You will have before you the dreams this body had on the dates which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from each of these, as I read same to you, and you will answer the questions which I ask you regarding same.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [900]. This we have had here before.
3. Now, we find in the physical forces of this body there are and have been those conditions in the physical and in the mental that have given the body some worry and some trouble. Some have brought about those conditions that have riled the body to the extent that almost lost control of self - yet to overcome, little by little, is to gain the better import of that that the entity may give, and the way and the how same shall be given, for, as has been seen, and as has been given, the entity is as the messenger to many peoples, and the laborer is worthy of the hire for, as is seen, soon there will come through these many efforts, through these many lessons as are being gained in the social way, the marital way, in the financial way, in the mental way, many peoples and many minds that will bring successes to the entity, through all of these channels - that are in the way of causing worries - will the entity [if the entity will] but overcome, be equal, as it were, to the occasions - for, as has been given, "LO, I am with you ALWAYS, even unto the end."
4. The dreams, as we see, reflect many of the conditions entity passes through, at or about the time - for, as seen, the dreams are of those three elements as has been given of the mental mind, of the subconscious mind, of the correlation of the body mind with conditions mental, and of the subconscious, and often the subconscious with superconscious giving in an experienced manner, or in vision, those lessons, those truths, as the entity may apply in the daily life, in the social life, in the study life, in the mental life, to build in same that as is necessary for the entity, as the ENTITY, to gain the full consciousness of that power, that force, as is being manifested, exhibited, shown, magnified, or belittled, through the efforts of the entity in this physical plane. Use same, then, in those ways and manners, and be worthy of that trust as has been given. Ready for dreams.
5. (Q) Morning of September 20, 1926. Saw [136] start to spot or menstruate - the first sign of a miscarriage. She was surprised and startled. Both of us were disappointed.
   (A) That as the vision of conditions wherein, as is seen, the necessity of the full consciousness of that as is to be manifested through the forces, and, as is seen, these have been assisted, yet ever within the entity, [900], has been some fear, some doubt, as to the full complete understanding. Then, put self in that attitude as is necessary to bring that force as gives the building of all creative energy in the right way and manner. Not an indication that this would happen. Rather the indication of the fear within the entity itself that it would happen, see?
6. (Q) By reason of what cause - that is, what has and may again be done by [136] to bring about this adverse condition?
   (A) Just those same conditions and contingencies as have arisen at time to time, by and through discussion of those things that the entity has been warned not to force upon the entity, but rather that of the assistance in the gradual GROWTH to the entity as associated with same, see? For, as has been given, these conditions, while manifesting through the purely physical body, are of the spiritual growth, and, as has been given often, must be that correlation between the two, that the full complete measurement of physical and spiritual being may be brought to that purpose as has been set, see?
7. (Q) Moe Wallack and I were watching the stock ticker. Sidney Wormser was seated in the room in a comfortable wicker arm chair. Suddenly the ticker registered a quick advance in General Motors stock to 170 and also a split up of this stock - that some General Motors new stock selling around 40. Then I saw Great Northern R.R. Stock around the price of 79 1/2, about its usual present (at time of this writing) selling price. Then our stock exchange order clerk told me the market was going down. I noted General Motors' advance to 170 and also saw Great Northern R.R. "It doesn't look as though he were right on this market," I said to Moe Wallack. "He says I am not right on the market," said the order clerk who gave me the bear tip, referring to me and my remark. "But watch I will be." I noted the ticker again and saw other stocks than those mentioned above start to sag, and then the ticker stopped and business grew dull. Moe Wallack then said to Sidney Wormser. "I think I'll send some money over to you," (meaning, of course, Kuhn Loeb's funds loaned for speculation purposes). I wondered if he'd send some funds to Block, Maloney & Co., and then reasoned that Kuhn Loeb would not because Block Maloney were not as conservative and safe as Lauer. "You will find all the outstanding accounts in good shape," continued Wormser. Again seeing the stock tape I noted General Motors had stopped after its advance to 170 and the ticker turned slow.
   (A) Again we find the body mind correlation of conditions as are seen as respecting the various stocks in which the entity uses or sees as criterion of the changes in the market quotation, and as to prices and as to advances, as well as are seen those of individuals, whose actions, whose deeds, are and have been given as criterion for the entity to shape physical action as concerning stock and market actions, and, as we shall see in these, these are then as guides or pointers for the conditions as may be expected (from that time as has been given) to see the action in same, for advances will be seen, with the adverse, and some quick advances, as has already occurred. Again we will find these occurring until about the 15th to 20th, you see, of October.
8. (Q) Does this indicate General Motors will cut another melon (in Wall Street language) soon and the stock now discounting this action will continue moving upward in price to 170.
   (A) Continue moving upward.
9. (Q) Will it be selling, according to this, at 170 with the new stock taken off (in which case estimating the new stock at 40, the present stock would go to 210), or will this present stock go to 170 and then taking off 40 points for the new stock bring this stock down to 130, (this might be in line with a former dream of General Motors at 124)?
   (A) This following rather the line of that as has been already outlined for the entity as regarding the stock of this special quotation, see? That is, there is to be the decided advance in this stock (General Motors), with a change, and with a portion of this taken off, as outlined, see?
10. (Q) What is indicated in seeing Great Northern R.R. stock at 79 1/2, about its present price?
    (A) About as high as it will go before we have many breaks some of which, as seen, have already occurred.
11. (Q) The bear tip from the order clerk on floor - i.e. that stocks would move downward? How should I correlate this for practical purposes?
    (A) This, as we see, is as how the entity gains these informations in the body conscious mind, and the impressions as are gained through the subconscious mind are correlated in experiences for the mental forces of the body. Correlating, then, these together, the entity gains that concept of the conditions as they change, see?
12. (Q) Does Wallack-Lauer money event indicate that the banks intend to lend liberally on conservative issues of stock such as rails and General Motors, thus facilitate their advance in price? That is on the good stocks?
    (A) Money, as is seen, has been high. Monies, as we see, will be the lower, and the banks making the rate less on such stock, making the advance, until there comes that period wherein we will find the general tumble, through the many conditions as are to happen over the country, see?
13. (Q) Finally, and in general, this class of stock will continue to advance for a while yet. Correct?
    (A) Continue to advance, with those various changes, as has been seen.
14. (Q) I dreamed I awakened and contemplated the General Motor dream. I reasoned as follows: "General Motors - yes, but to what price. O yes - 170 - then the market grew dull or reacted - how, when does it do this?" Then I beheld a skeleton of my own body talking out loud to myself, indicating in words as I often do in making myself a third person talking to myself - yet in this case that which was said to me was not of my saying or of my control, altho it became part of my consciousness by virtue of putting myself under this other control, and altho I had, of my own volition, indicated that said to me, in the physical manner I had so talked to myself while awake, yet now, my body or sensuous mind was gaining this knowledge from a divine power of mind - i.e. my skeleton spoke to me saying: "That is enough for you to know." (Meaning, I believe, that for the present General Motors will go to 170 and other rails and good stocks up also). "After this happens the Lord will tell you what will happen. Enough for the present that you are told this." "My," I reasoned, "that Voice is loud." I guess I am talking in my sleep and the Voice is talking to me so loud and distinct that it will awaken the folks. I felt like an ingrate and proceeded to thank my Good Father for His goodness, gifts, etc., to me. The Voice in the form of my own skeleton (I could see the teeth and jawbones move) took hold again saying: "That is all unnecessary. The way to thank the Father is to continue just as you are doing, by making your body (my own skeleton that I was seeing), a means by which this Power may manifest, whether as regards physical, mental, spiritual, financial or whatnot. That is sufficient." Then I did actually awaken and found no loud voice had disturbed anyone. I did some thinking and reasoned that Christ exemplified to the world the "Divinity of Man" and the process by which man in this upside down divine form (material) became possessed for and of himself of this Divinity. My message constitutes this explanation and to accomplish this I must merely be the vehicle for such an expression or explanation by the One who is my authority (the Divine Power or Father) for such expression, for then I may, like Christ, claim Him for my authority, and also like Christ demonstrate the truth of this to those who have the mind's eyes to see and hear - i.e. understand and gain for themselves a consciousness of like divine relationship. Correct?
    (A) This, as we see, just that as has been outlined in the various visions as have been seen and passed by the entity, and of the conditions that come about before and since these visions, or this understanding has been gained by the entity, in its body and mental consciousness as respecting to various phases of consciousness, of mental mind, of the body-mind, of the subconscious mind, and of these being one in all and all in one, and in the manifestation of same, as is man's will power, or man,s or the entity's power in relation to these same conditions, and how same may be manifested before men, whether that of stocks, bonds, individuals, homes, peoples, monies, cities, or whatnot - all being of that ONE force, in its one way to manifest that divine force as has been exemplified through the Christ, and through the individuals who make themselves One with the Father - for, as is seen in each individual, individual lives as are seen or manifested in the earth plane: Each entity sets that as the ideal, or that as the criterion, and works to that one. In that of the Christ Life - God, the Father, made that ideal, and that life spent in manifesting that ideal before men, same as this entity, [900], may manifest that same ideal - that oneness with the Father, and thus magnify that name - as is given - "None above or beneath, or in the broad ways may know other, than the Father lives in those who would seek to do His, the Father's, biddings in the earth's plane."
