This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 6th day of October, 1926, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [900].

TEXT

1. GC: You will have before you the dreams this body had on the dates which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from each of these, as I read same to you, and you will answer the questions which I will ask you regarding same.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [900]. The dreams, as we see, come to the entity through those channels as have been given, and are as a portion of the experience of the consciousness of the entity, and the interpretations and lessons may be used in the way and manner as has been given. As the entity applies same, so comes the results or effects of such application in the life. Ready for dreams.
3. (Q) Friday Night, Oct. 1, 1926, while reading in bed. Voice, extraordinarily loud: "Eighty-five."
   (A) This, as we see, referring to stock in which the entity is in, in mind and in body, or in financial way and is as the subconscious giving expression of that which is as to happen in this particular way and manner, see?
4. (Q) I interpreted this as being an indication of the price to which General Motors is to go - i.e. 185, not plain 85. Is this correct, or does 85 refer to something else? To what?
   (A) Rather the 85, for we will find these breaking, as many others will, downward near these figures, for from the indications as have been given, and as has been seen, unheard of, or un-normal conditions may be expected to happen, though it may go from the 185 to the 85, see?
5. (Q) That is General Motors?
   (A) General Motors.
6. (Q) Saturday Night, Oct. 2, while reading. Saw Meyer Half and some reference to Warner Bros. stock. Then after that number 95 1/2.
   (A) This again referring to stock, and, as is seen, Warner Brothers or Warner being that as is to show some advance - even while the more stable or higher priced stocks are going lower, this would advance to some extent. As is seen, the Meyer Half referring as much to that indication of conditions as the entity holds this entity in mind, as in ability, see?
7. (Q) Will Warner Brothers rise?
   (A) Will rise to something near this price - nine, five - five, nine - nine, five - four, three - three points rise, then the break, see?
8. (Q) Should I warn Herff and [2886], who are short of the stock, or say nothing to them at all?
   (A) They may expect a rise and the fall, see? As to whether others shall be warned, this, as has been given, is the manner in which the entity may use or apply same to himself, for in assisting or helping others comes the better or the application of that lesson as is being gained by the entity - while there are other individuals that such information as has been given to this entity could only be applied in self. (in undertone) Five point change - three up, five down.
9. (Q) Sunday Morning, Oct. 3. I was sick - worn down - nervous, and my lungs were affected. I was being examined (they took my temperature and found I had fever), and they told me I would have to go away - to Saranac. I was partially undressed and in an office with a window open, as I am when I take an osteopath treatment. The doctor sitting behind a desk, said: "You should not sit like that in front of an open window." "If only [137] would take a vacation - he needs one - then I would take one. We both need a rest away from work," I said. "Yes," agreed the doctor. "That would help me, a trip to Havana, or something of the kind." They were worried about my lungs.
   (A) This, as we see, referring rather to the mental condition of the entity, as its relation to the stocks market, rather than to physical conditions of the body - for, as is seen and known to the entity, physical conditions may represent the spiritual elements as are manifest in a stock market, see? and stock market may represent, through the subconscious forces, physical conditions in the body. In this, as is seen, the entity understands how that the body may be recuperated through those natural building forces in the body, through its (the body's) physical knowledge of anatomical conditions as exist. Now, as is seen, this representing, then, the market condition - of the unrest and of the conditions, and in which the entity should then CLEAR OUT of the market until there is some settled condition in same, or taking advantage only of those elements or those points, or those directed to which the entity may take hold of, for, as is seen, specific conditions are given that the entity may act on same. Rest, see? See? to recuperate. Rest, as is seen, to recuperate from market. Rest, see? for, as we find, and as has been given from many various conditions, there may be expected a great turmoil and change, EITHER HIGH OR LOW, from the 15th to 20th of October. See? Though we will have higher and lower conditions before then - the same as is seen through that of [137], for as one would act, then the other may act, see?
10. (Q) Monday Morning, Oct. 4. A blood transfusion in which [136]'s blood was injected into me in order to enrich my blood supply and furnish it with needed strength.
    (A) Rather that as has been given to the entity, of the infusion of ideas and ideals of one individual for another, and through same gain the greater strength, the greater abilities of applying those lessons as are being gained, and as have been gained by the entity from time to time. Apply it in that manner, then - for, as is seen, the consideration as is given in transfusion (which is little understood), there is strength and ability gained, and as the transfusion of ideas and ideals is of then same nature, see? There's an emblematical condition, then, of a physical force.
11. (Q) A merger of Fleischman selling at 48 and some other stock (possibly Postum) selling at 96. I saw both stocks at these prices and a merger indicated.
    (A) With the merger as is seen between these as are being considered, we may find both these stocks selling up when others are breaking, for there is going to be that influence in the market of many various conditions, many spotted conditions in that change, attempting to rally things up, see? This being one of them - for the entity will be shown, and will see from time to time the various conditions, and these may be acted on a day - two days - at the time. Not for long issues, for we find these will be necessary to change often.
12. (Q) Does this indicate a merger of Fleischman, with some other company - Postum?
    (A) Indicates the merger, as has been given, see?
13. (Q) What do the prices mean?
    (A) Both being in advance, you see - that is, between the two, see? Both will be in advance, from the present. Then when combination - they off with the other various elements as acting at that time.
14. (Q) Tuesday Night, Oct. 5, while reading. "Number Nine."
    (A) This as the indication to the entity of that the market, while not in its entirety, yet as a general condition has reached its apex at the present time, though we will find that many specific ones, varying from day to day, will rise to higher points - many seeking then new lower levels. This referring, especially, to those of the industrial nature, and of rails, for it will include practically all, yet each VARYING from day to day, as the different things and conditions go. Remembering ever that those as have been given as criterions may be the ones that may be expected to lead, see?
15. (Q) Does this mean the completeness of the upward movement of the market after Monday's break?
    (A) Completeness in the general, but not in the specific, as given, see?
    We would act, then, rather in the way and manner as has been outlined, as regarding both the market, both the physical, for, as we see, the voice and the numbers which have and do indicate to the entity those conditions wherein the entity should act in that way and manner as has been given. Be out of most of stocks, save as is GIVEN to the entity from time to time, as to how and the way and the manner as entity may take advantage of same. See?
