[The following dreams not read]:
1. Saturday Morning, Nov. 13, 1926. [
136] did actually say
she was thirsty and wanted a glass of water. I was too
sleepy to get it and unconsciously told her to go to sleep
and then the Voice as [
136] said in dream: "You are not
serving me as well as you used to."
2. I came into Block, Maloney's office and heard the
announce announcement that U.S. Steel suddenly had declared
a $2 extra dividend in cash. I immediately rushed to the
wire room and put in an order to buy 200 shares at the
market, whereat the order clerk admonished me not to, because
it was too late to buy steel then - i.e. the good news was
out. I insisted, however. The stock had suddenly jumped up
in price to 168 and then they called out Steel 169 bid. I
later received a note from [
137] in which he told me that
he had bought my 200 shares of Steel at 163 and that he had
done the purchasing in spite of my having put the order in
thru the wire room. Also that he disapproved of the
purchase. It seemed at the same time that we took on a
third partner. He looked thru our margin book and I knew
everything was alright except our own small account that
losses had so drastically depleted. I was afraid that he
would see that and he did. He left us, at which we took on
another partner who seemed older and with more prestige. Al
Rosner said to [
137] and I: "Now I think it will work out
if [
900] will dig around for a couple of good live
accounts." I thought that somehow I was surrounded by small
accounts and didn't just see how I could reach and get the
big accounts. In order to fix up that depleted account of
ours I tried to borrow $5000 from my mother. The new
partner looked thru the margin book and altho he said
nothing didn't seem impressed - particularly with our
account. He didn't seem enthusiastic about my steel
purchase. I noticed two lines strung across the room from
which two keys hung suspended. These were given with each
purchase of 100 shares of stock of U.S. Steel. That looked
good to me. Then I looked up at the clock and about 40
minutes had passed since I had purchased the 200 shares of
Steel. "Is that just time advanced, or is that an advance
in the price of Steel stock?" I asked. In Block, Maloney's
office they assured me it was an advance in the price of
Steel stock to the extent where I had made 10 points, which
on 200 shares is $2000. Then I seemed justified in [
137]'s
eyes and in those of the new partner. That pretty well made
up the deficit in the special account and we were happy
about it. So happy that [
137], myself and Gladys Folk
(Josephine Lee's aunt) skipped out on the sidewalk and
danced and sang. I would not sell the stock, feeling that
here was a chance to take a good profit after all our
losses. I went over to [
140]'s and [
137]'s house for
dinner and they asked to see what kind of securities were
issued for shares of U.S. Steel. I gave two pieces of
jewelry to [
140] that seemed valuable diamonds. [
140] showed
around something and I thought it was the valuable pieces of
jewelry given as Steel stock, but instead, when it came
around to me, I noticed that the pieces were changed to flat
silverware with [
140]'s monogram thereon. "They are yours,"
I said smiling at [
140], disappointed that she should have
fooled us. Then the others asked to see the Steel shares and
[
140] then, half heartedly, showed around the diamond pieces
of jewelry given for Steel stock. In her eyes, and then in
mine, the pieces seemed suddenly to grow less valuable. But
the others said they wished they had bought stock that gave
such valuable securities. Then I felt encouraged. At
another place and on a succeeding day I turned to our new
partner and said: "Steel is now up another 10 points and
seems to be going higher - that makes $4000 profit for us on
that 200 shares purchased. It opened this morning at 139 and
is now going thru 140."
GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind
of [
900], of ... St., N.Y. City, and the dreams this body had
on the dates which I will give you. You will give the
interpretation and lesson to be gained from each of these,
as I read same to you, and you will answer the questions I
ask you regarding same.
EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [
900]. This
we have had here before. The dreams, the visions, the
meditations, are as those developing consciousnesses of the
entity as regarding the various conditions as are presented
to the entity from time to time, through correlation of
physical mind, body conscious mind, and subconscious and
superconscious conditions of the entity - for, as has been
given, and as is seen through experience the consciousness of
an entity is gained in the way and manner as to become
applicable in the physical or spiritual life of an entity,
whether the physical entity or spiritual entity is concerned.
The entity physical of [
900] is in that consciousness as
brings a better balance to the entity than has been in fear,
or in that of the inner consciousness of being in a position
of not full at-oneness in the application of knowledge
through wisdom as has been gained by the entity in the
various experiences in the body conscious mind in the present
sphere, or in correlating those experiences of the entity in
the spiritual fear as apply to the conditions through with
the mentality of the entity is passing in the present earthly
experience. These conditions being in the manner of being
presented to the entity through the experiences of the
visions or dreams as are here presented to the entity, and
the entity has in part gained by that of putting self in the
contrite form or manner, in consecration of self's purpose
and self's knowledge in the present sphere gained an access
to the lessons being presented.
As is seen in that where the consciousness becomes aware
of the desire of another to desire moral or temporal
satisfaction of the desire of thirst in the body. The
entity finds self in the manner of procrastinating the aid
as may be given for the satisfaction of self to gain the
knowledge of what is needed in desire and the action of same
on self, when the lesson rather is gained in doing, and the
act itself giving satisfaction to the entity in the matter
of experience to applying self and supplying others in a
manner that is wholesome truth, and is as the lesson as was
given, "He that gives a cup of water in my name shall in no
wise lose his reward." Not in self then, but losing self in
service, may an entity gain the greater concept and
consciousness of the power of that Creative Energy as is
manifested in material spiritual beings as inhabit the
earth, or the sphere's about same.
Again there is shown in the entrance into that abode in
which the entity labors, as pertaining to the material things
of life, and the conversation in the temporal manner leads
the entity to infer by the comparison of those conditions
as may transpire concerning the quotations or selling, or
exchange price in various commodities in which the entity
may enter its labors, for the gain of those temporal
conditions that make up a portion of the material affairs
in the earth. In that as is given and as has been seen, and
as the entity in part correlates with information as has
been supplied the entity, and as the entity sees in part is
that stock that acts as the criterion, as it were, for the
various conditions respecting this portion of the entity's
affairs in the business world.
As is seen later in the vision, the quotations give the
indication of there being special dividends declared, and
that those seeking such are placing themselves in the
position to take advantage of same, while the market
conditions are such that the small trader is not inclined to
be in the speculative mood, but rather those who control
such affairs through the ability to gain possession of large
amounts, or large blocks of such holdings, and through same
be able to control the smaller or lesser dealers when the
changes come.
As is presented again to the entity the keys, or key,
as is hung up, shows this as the key to the situation, and
that the entity may once again gather that intent and purport
of what such conditions appertain to, whether viewed from the
purely business standpoint of material concern or whether
viewed from the higher sphere of the spiritual conditions as
exist concerning same, for the lesson as of oneness of all
force is apparent in the consciousness of the entity,
materially, mentally, morally, spiritually. The
APPLICATION of same has and does become the stumbling block
to the entity, and the conscious mind gains first the
concept of the MATERIALIST, for wholly the entity is not at
oneness with the Universal Forces, for else, as has been
given, "Be not afraid. I will guide thee in thy ways," for
remember as was given of old to Him who made self One with
the Universe and the All Creative Forces. The first was,
"This is he in whom I am well pleased." The second, "This
is my son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear ye Him!" The
entity may, by the full application of lessons being
prepared for others and for self, in application of same
gain such an application in the material and spiritual world
- but to become afraid, and to view first "What will people
say - what will I do - were the props, as it were, taken
from under me in the material world?" This is the thought
of a materialist! The greater force would be even as He
gave, "Not my will, but thine, O God, be done," THROUGH me,
BY me, in those conditions pertaining to material, social,
filial and spiritual relations with my fellow man. Ready
for dream.
(Q) What, if anything, does this portend as to steel stock
price?
(A) This, as has been given, that with the declaring of
dividends there will become that advance as is seen for same,
when much of same will be found in the hands of those who are
gradually taking hold of same under the existent conditions.
Raised and turned loose, or as has been given, steel the
criterion for market conditions, and the key to the
understanding of the ENTITY regarding these conditions,
physically, mentally, materially, spiritually.
(Q) How could there be a 20 point profit on stock bought at
163 and then be selling at 140 which is rather about a 20
point loss?
(A) This viewing from the material standpoint. When this
considered as sold AND bought, we find becomes the 40 point
rather than the 20, as material would see, see?
(Q) Will Steel give a $2 extra cash dividend as seen?
Suddenly as seen or at the regular January meeting?
(A) The preparations and the reports of same will be
suddenly, and is seen in action at present, though as
to the amount of this we do not see it given as a $2 at
the January meeting. Rather as $1.25 or $1, see?
(Q) What do the diamond pieces mean - i.e. indicate the
value of Steel stock or of the present Steel is to give
away at the same time or later than the declaration of the
$2 extra cash dividend?
(A) Rather the diamond represents to the entity the great
truth and lesson the entity in self may gain from the study
of the vision, and of the lesson as has been given concerning
same - as how entity may apply self in same, or to same, in
the material AND the spiritual sense of same, see? for would
the entity gain full concept of the at-oneness with the
Creative Energy, first make thy paths straight, and all these
things shall be added unto you - meaning the abilities to
apply self concerning spiritual conditions first, and
material conditions also, see?
(Q) Is there any means indicated how in Steel I may recoup
our losses recently taken in our account? What is it?
(A) In the study of the conditions as have been presented
will be shown the entity how these may be turned into that
as will bring those conditions of the entity gaining
knowledge of how to apply these conditions - for profit,
when properly applied.
(Q) Voice: "Understanding of that manifested by the
forces."
(A) Understanding, being able - as pointed out to the entity
- to make application rather than having the knowledge or
knowing without the understanding of that as goes with the
understanding of application in the life.
(Q) Mercury explaining its own manifestation of
understanding the innate elan vitale of life?
(A) That of the forces as are seen in the Mercurian effect
in the life of the entity, and the elan forces as are set in
motion through understanding. Correct.
(Q) Dream had sometime ago shortly before recent
complications. I was seated at a table of poor people.
There seemed to be just soup served. I expected these
people, unlike many more independent wealthy ones, to say
grace and I prepared for the prayer of thankfulness. To my
surprise it was not said - in fact I was more surprised to
find others eating their meal and I without any. I called
for my soup but it was gone or not given.
(A) In the conditions as have transpired in the life of the
entity in material, in marital, and in social ways, this is
seen through understanding as conditions as have transpired
in the entity's experience for others who are in the position
to be thankful for that place and without the seeming ability
to apply the thankfulness, find their own reward only in the
material way. The entity apparently going begging, even for
the frugal conditions, with thanksgiving, may, through the
trials of the hour, gain the better understanding of the
fullness in Him.
