This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 8th day of December, 1926, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [900].

Present: Edgar Cayce; Mrs. Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.

TEXT

1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [900], of ... St., N.Y. City, and the dreams this body had on the dates which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from each of these, as I read same to you, and you will answer the questions which I will ask you regarding same.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [900]. This we have had here before, you see. (See, we find the body kind of ruffed up this evening.) The dreams, as we see, come to the entity through those various channels as have been outlined for the entity, and may be used in that way and manner as has been given. Ready for dream.
3. (Q) Morning of Dec. 2, 1926. Voice: "I tell you there will be just one more prophet in Israel - he will be the last."
   (A) In this there is seen that correlation of the studies as have been made by the entity, and those conditions and experiences through which the entity has and is passing, and there is given again that opportunity to the entity to show forth that as may be accomplished in the entity's endeavors, would the whole body and mind, and heart and spirit be thrown, cast, moulded, made into that channel through which this as is voiced to the entity may be expended. Heed then, therefore, the warning, and be that channel.
4. (Q) Why the last in Israel?
   (A) For in same, as has been given, the culmination of the efforts of the entity is to make all one with the Lord, for again, as seen, all shall be gathered under one banner - the Lord of Lords, the King of Kings, for every kindred tribe and tongue, and not Lord of one sect, cism or ism, nor of one Lord for the Jew, Greek, or Gentile, but Lord of ALL, for in the ONENESS of purpose IS that shown forth by the efforts of him who would bring this message to the peoples.
5. (Q) What is meant by a prophet in Israel?
   (A) A prophet from the household of Israel, a prophet from those now known as the descendants of Israel, see?
6. (Q) I beheld myself on the pulpit prognosticating. I remember that I was prognosticating for the people of Israel, but what I can't remember.
   (A) Again the message as is seen, that the entity is to become the speaker, teacher, leader, would the entity give self in the entirety to this purpose.
7. (Q) A crowd on the street - a crowd of ruffians. They held me responsible for being a Jew and for the result of a meeting that was taking place, at which was to be decided whether the Jews turned Christians or not. We awaited anxiously the result. Finally it came. "They have decided to turn Christian," came the announcement. As they turned to shuffle away, I turned to ask if they would have killed or tortured us as of old if the Jews had not decided to become Christian. "Not this bunch," came the reply. "They would have just punched you in the face."
   (A) Again we see the various effects on the consciousness of the body mind as respecting the various conditions through which entity or individuals pass to reach a certain given point, for which is given as a name, when the name is rather that classification as has been made by MAN as a designating condition, and as may be referred to the information as has been given as respecting what is meant by name, and why names mean little or much, according to the consciousness of individuals, as is indicated in the ruffians and in the action of individuals as were seen in groups as respecting the attitude of other groups respecting a CONDITION of MIND rather than of action, though action the indication of the state of mind, see? Then, the lesson as is seen the entity may gather from same, these are following along the lines of particular study the entity is making as respecting the attitude of NOW called Christian to Jew, or Jew to Christian, and the various concepts of various groups. Not accepting, then, a condition on account of a name, but rather as what the name indicates, and the position or trend or tend of the mind FROM that as the name indicates to the mind, see? for, as is seen, the word Christian - Christ like, or, as is seen, not that it represents an individual's attitude, but rather as an attitude each and every individual may assume, attain, take on as concerning the position of the individual respecting its relation to the higher being, or force, or spirit, or all powerful.
8. (Q) Two stores, one on Columbus Ave. carrying cheap shirt waists, and another on Broadway carrying a larger line of toys and stationary. The latter seemed more prosperous, but I was in the former store. The proprietor said to me, referring to the Broadway store: "He thinks we could not merge to become one, but we could. I do a good business."
   (A) Again a presentation to the entity of an aspect of the merging of the tenets of one faith, position or condition, with that of another that is classified, thought of, considered by certain groups as a station higher, or a station as possesses a different attitude in the consciousness or affairs of the world, and, as is seen, in the analyses of the conditions, each represents its individual position, and the individual position in its analyses is as the same condition that each is attempting to attain to - serve others in the attitude of meting to each that as is necessary for the better understanding of the conceptions of the Creative Energy and its supplying forces in its Oneness of purpose to all, see?
9. (Q) I was in a large department store and trying to build up a business. A girl was fixing the shirt waist counter and table. "I know where we can get some cheap shirt waists," I said, referring to that Columbus Ave. store.
   (A) Again we find how that each condition, position, effort, in individual lives is applicable in the efforts as are seen in the lives of others, when brought one to another. The entity finds self as the one giving that knowledge. Then apply same, as is seen through the entity's efforts and forces, to become that one effervescent force, that leaven that leaveneth the whole lump.
10. (Q) Night of Dec. 5, while reading Bible. Voice: "Texas Gulf - Some phoney selling going on here."
    (A) The conditions presented to the body conscious mind of that in which the entity has given the body conscious forces' efforts as regarding some particular, and this particular stock - showing to the entity the effect of action of forces as are set forth in such elements and conditions, and warning the entity, as it were, to keep hands off. As is seen again in the efforts as are put forth by the entity in finding the expression of the phoney selling, that these should be let alone, see?
11. (Q) Phoney selling may mean selling by good people under cover of strength, which is bearish on the stock - i.e. indicating down movement of stock. Is this what is meant?
    (A) Rather that as is given - HANDS OFF, for the entity had best hold that as is given to entity in and through these same efforts, than taking hold of that which shows irregularity being perpetrated by those in control of such stocks.
12. (Q) What had best be done with the stock under present circumstances, considering we are not interested in a one or two point drop, but are interested in a five point decline or ten point advance?
    (A) LET ALONE, as has been given! These are rather given, as the entity has been given aforetime, that in these various manners the entity is shown, in IRREFUTABLE ways and manners, the oneness of purpose in that as may be - MAY BE attained by the entity in the fullness of the entity's purpose to attain to that as is necessary FOR the entity to gain the fullness OF that within self's purposes.
13. (Q) Impression of my father's presence, in his old east side N.Y. office. It seemed a Sunday or holiday and office was closed. I, however, was there trying to do something with a small quantity of liquid, and feared the watchman might discover me. I squirted the liquid thru a syringe into my eye or eyes. The watchman did not discover me at first - I would not have it so, but feared he would. Then he did discover me, in my indecision and fear, and punished me by squirting my eye or eyes full of water with a hose. He gave me plenty of that which I sought to gain in a small quantity in secret.
    (A) Again shown to the entity that through those forces as are manifested through the spiritual entity, and presence of that that would act as the guide to the entity in the forces as have been outlined for same, that not in private, not in secret ways and manners may the greater force or greater understanding be gained by the entity as concerning same, but IN the privacy of same, in the attempting to gain the knowledge of such conditions, through the own privacy, there may be brought to bear such forces upon the entity that he may become blinded by the fullness of the purpose, rather than seeing that as IS attained, worked to the point, to the understanding, that it is APPLICABLE, and is WORKABLE, rather than something to be hidden, something to be afraid of, something to be scoffed at or scorned about. "Understandest thou what thou readest?"
14. (Q) Something here as pertaining to Harris Hyman.
    (A) Don't gain anything.
15. (Q) Voice: "Keep your hands off."
    (A) Again the warning as concerning those as related to stocks and certain elements as had been told, as regarding that effort of the brother to prevent the entity from attaining into, or meddling into some conditions that hands should be kept off.
