This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 4th day of April, 1927, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [900].

TEXT

1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [900] and [136], of ... St., N.Y. City, and the dreams each of these bodies had on the dates which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from each of these, as I read them to you, and you will answer the questions which I will ask you regarding same. I will give you [900]'s first.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [900] and [136]. These we have had here before. The dreams are as those conditions that have been outlined for these bodies from time to time, each under its circumstance presenting that phase of the entity's experience through which it (the entity) is passing, with the body consciousness of the entity. Hence these may be used as that to develop the physical consciousness of the entity, and guide same aright in the various conditions that are presented to the entities from time to time. Ready for dreams.
3. (Q) [900]'s. Friday Night, April 1, 1927, while reading Bible. Voice: "Erie might go up 30 points. It would be a good thing for our business."
   (A) In this there is seen that as presented to the entity through this correlation of conscious and subconscious forces, giving to the entity that understanding as regarding conditions that would present themselves in this particular stock. Seeing that this stock has been an active force, then, as is seen in the numbers presented, and in the message as is given, well, then, that this be considered and be used. Not the full advance of 30, yet that of 3 and its multiple, as is seen in the addition of ciphers - for while there will be some breaking off in the markets in the present day, with a rebounding late in the evening, and an advance again on the morrow, yet be well that these were taken as QUICK turns - for well for the business, well for the entity. Use same in discretion, as is seen in 3.
4. (Q) Later on during the night. I seemed to be questioning what was given on Erie. It seemed that Erie would go up 30 points, and I questioned what was going to happen to Chrysler, and it seemed to say, "Take these as you get them."
   (A) This, as is seen, the verification of those conditions as has been given the entity as regarding these two different stocks, and, as has been given from time to time, USE these, as these are given - for without the application of conditions as are presented the entity finds, whether conditions are of the mental or of the material, or as of an active principle, these will be found to become of non-use - for though an entity, a body, physical, may have a wonderful mind or muscle, if neither are used in the combating or meeting conditions these become null and void. The same with the information as may be given to the entity from time to time through the action of the subconscious forces, as are correlated with the conditions of the entity in the body conscious, in the subconscious, or in the SUPERCONSCIOUS. Without the application of these, or these put in use, these do not apply.
   Now, as is seen, while there is not the change as yet in those conditions as regarding Chrysler - for these advances, as has been given, are due as yet through the active forces of these conditions that set such in shape to rise to that point as given - as will Erie, which though, as is seen in the numbers, is of a quick change, see?
5. (Q) Will Erie go up 30 points?
   (A) Three, and the multiple of same, rather than thirty - but be in and out of same within the week, see? But the advance will come, for while the conditions in foreign trade, and the relations in foreign conditions, may precipitate the fall or the change in price, yet - as yet - these are not as such as prevent Chrysler or Erie from advancing to those points, see?
6. (Q) When will Erie go up?
   (A) In this week - THIS week. Three, see?
7. (Q) The week the dream was had, or the present week?
   (A) The present week.
8. (Q) Does Chrysler still hold good?
   (A) Still holds good, as given.
9. (Q) Saturday Night, April 2, or Sunday Morning, April 3, 1927. I saw our margin book and accounts. Stocks seemed to be going down, and Arthur Reynolds, our clerk, was reading the ticker. He told me it was going down. I saw Baldwin Locomotive selling at 105 1/2.
   (A) This, as is indicated by that as is being seen on paper, or as is being seen as taking place, is as conditions that will take place. Not as YET - for, as seen, there are conditions to take place, as would be indicated by that of someone else telling the entity, someone ELSE seeing these things - for, as conditions, and as to when such conditions are to be, is as that which the entity gains or attains through SELF'S understanding, rather than being told - for, as has OFTEN been given, the entity gives to others - few give to the entity, save an understanding of that as the entity obtains through self, see? Not sufficient unto self does the entity become, but the entity BECOMES one who may bring much to others through applying IN self that attained through self, rather than that as attained through that of others. So again these conditions as are seen as respecting this will be presented to the entity, when and how to use and apply same - for these conditions will occur later - May, see?
10. (Q) Thursday Morning, March 31, 1927. Something about the study of the "Placenta" in relation to my study of anatomy. This was the next phase I was to study of embryology and that I did study in the morning. Something seemed to be given me as a lesson in this - as a professor might deliver a lecture on the subject to a student. Make clear to me as a teacher would a student studying this phase of anatomy, those elements that the book cannot clarify.
    (A) These are, as at present, not wholly understood by the entity, and - as is indicated to the entity in that inability to attain or gain that full knowledge in that as was shown - not to be given to the entity until the study in same, until the experience that comes to same and to the body of that one [136] who dreamed in connection with same such conditions as were to be delivered to the sister [3816], or applied to self as respecting same.¹ When an experience, and a study, and a thought, and again this is presented, these may be given in their toto to the entity. Not in the present circumstance for either.
