This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 25th day of August, 1927, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [900].

TEXT

1. LBC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [900], of ... St., New York City, and the dreams this body had on the dates which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from each of these, as I read them to you, and you will answer the questions which I will ask you regarding same.
2. EC: We have the body, the enquiring mind, [900]. This we have had here before. The dreams, as we see, come to the entity in the way and manner as has been outlined, and may be applied by the entity in, through, and for those channels as have been outlined for the entity. Ready for dreams.
3. (Q) Sunday, August 21, and Monday August 22. Interviewer: "Big developments going on in International Harvester and White Motor Truck." I questioned to make sure: "International Harvester and White Motor?" My Interviewer very masterfully and pronouncedly: "Yes, International Harvester and White Motor Stock."
   (A) The indications as seen through the interpreter, and these are given to the entity through those channels and in the manner as has been outlined, and the entity may apply same in the way and manner as is befitting that as has been presented to the entity. Apply same.
4. (Q) Advisable to buy both of these now?
   (A) Advisable to buy both of these when this was given, yes.
5. (Q) Any advice on these that it is willed to be given me on these from here?
   (A) These as has been given, and these as has given these to this entity will guide and direct these when the entity follows in the way and manner - for, as has been given regarding the application of information as may be received by an entity, or this entity, through these sources, or any sources that are authentic or official, in application and IN action the entity gains the knowledge and understanding of how these may be applied, and the benefits derived from same - through action.
6. (Q) Merill Ruckeyser around stock ticker with others. Stocks seemed to react - some one to 167.
   (A) This, as is seen, that activity as surround the stock as held by this individual, and is presented to the entity in the way and manner as is seen the entity may apply same to that as has been presented; that is, in advising and in giving that as is felt, or as is known, the entity applies information gained, see?
7. (Q) First a colored porter, at which Voice said, "He is only in earth to learn whether colored or a porter or what." Then it seemed to be me, myself, and at a dinner party. I came to a vacant place next to Miss Edna Marner. She waved me away, saying she wanted no youngster seated next to her. Chagrined, I replied: "Say, I'm not so anxious to sit there." Then I moved on and was surprised to find at my place a huge place card on which was written, "[900] and Company." Its size and beauty surprised me.
   (A) This (a portion of that as visioned by the entity) is as that being presented to the entity in an emblematical way, yet a very direct way and manner to the entity's application of self respecting information, position, or stand as the entity may take in respect to same, and - as is seen - each entity in the various spheres or positions shows its development, or each is experiencing same for its development through that as is merited by the action of the entity in the earth's plane. In whatever position, condition, surroundings the entity then may find self, with that as has been attained by the entity, there is seen there is only the one action for the entity: Apply the knowledge gained, that the better understanding may be in and given to the entity for its advancement, and in application the entity sees there is the large place, as it were, for the entity, and those who may be drawn to the knowledge of man's relation to the universe and universal forces THROUGH the labors of the entity - making a beautiful place for same, see?
8. (Q) Tuesday morning, Aug. 23. The name "Gary" several times while reading Bible and that particular reading, prior to going to sleep.
   (A) Again a portion of that seen. The entity contacts then, again, that of the force as is being manifest in the cosmic plane of that as manifested in the earth's plane as Gary, and - as has been given - the entity may acquire, inquire, and gain much from those communions from time to time with that entity, see? Entity meaning, not as ONE - but as the whole one, see? and not just the spirit of that as known as Gary, but the ENTITY of Gary, see?
9. (Q) In a precise business like snappy fashion, Gary instructed me as follows: 1. To call Newgold regarding operating Park & Tilford Stock and say "I'd like to do something in that stock."
   (A) This representing those conditions as respecting activity in this special stock, and in the way and manner as presented to the entity is as again a training for the entity through those channels as are being opened up, as it were, for the entity to apply in its business associations and relations, see? for, as has been given from time to time there are various conditions - as has been seen, as has been presented to this entity - through the various channels, of those as represent individuals, and those individuals in the physical representing certain emblematical conditions or characteristics the entity should follow in a way and manner as applying self toward business associations and relations. Now, we find these representing a specific air, a specific condition, a specific mode, that to the business or financial world has been considered as a criterion for ANYONE to apply in the life. Now we find same being presented in and through these conditions - or the communications - in a way and manner that become very definite information will the entity [if the entity will] apply same in its outward manifestation of those things inwardly know, see?
10. (Q) (Continuing) 2. He said: "Instead of bearish operations, operate constructively in the stock market."
    (A) Correct.
11. (Q) (Continuing) 3. He said: "I will do what I can for the hospital."
    (A) Meaning in this same manner, that - as the constructive forces represent to the entity those very same conditions in a financial way and manner - NOT dollars and cents, but as to the application of financial conditions, or financial surroundings, as applied to the various things. Putting then, as it were, into the mind of the entity - as the physical head of the hospital or institution - that act, or that activity in which the entity should guide and direct, and see that those associated, connected with same are carried in that same way and manner, see?
12. (Q) Meaning stock market conditions are now bullish - that stocks are going up?
    (A) Stocks are going up.
13. (Q) What was meant by and for hospital?
    (A) As given.
14. (Q) Then briefly Gary pointed out, in terms of business of a kind that we both understand, a definite specific example of what the matter with me is. Here it is: A tall young man brought in a bill of $4.75 for our firm to pay. I turned to him and said: "Now listen here. I told the boy before that we don't owe that bill and when I say a thing I mean it. We don't owe that bill and won't pay it. We didn't execute those orders." "Don't owe this bill of $4.75? We corrected it from $8.25. Look how it is figured," and he showed me the sheet on which a lot of lines were drawn and a lot of figures. "We don't owe it and won't pay it," I said. "Look it over," he said. "Say, get out, will you?" I said, "or must I call the porter to show you out." He persisted and I - aggravated - called the porter to show him out. Then the man turned out to be J. D. Frankel, the head of the firm who is giving me business in Park & Tilford Stock. How mortified I was. I tried to fix things up by seating him at my desk and trying to come in with a bill to him and thus make him see my viewpoint. I tried to explain my way out. I was disgusted with myself for allowing myself to get into such a predicament. It finished that I owed $8.75 instead of $4.75 and had to pay it. I lost in business, in self respect, and in personal regard of others for me, and I above all need these three - for that I am attempting to do and achieve - i.e. at least respect of others, and respect for myself, and that measure of business success that will facilitate my achieving the necessary economic freedom to do the educational and Association work I seek to do.
    (A) This representing a specific conditions, or a trend, as it were, to the entity, as respecting the various things that will be - and as are being presented to the entity through these communications as are being presented to the entity through these communications as are being gained from that force as represented in the earth plane through that of Gary. Well the entity has gained the interpretation as is necessary for the entity's application, and the entity through this way and manner - and through these various channels - may gain for self that better understanding, that better peace, that better application of those truths as may be applied in the life, whether as to social, business, of WHATEVER the relation may be - for all force is as one force, and the application is applicable, whether it is selling shoes or selling stocks, or whether worship in the church or whether making love in the home - for love is law, law is love. Application of all force is as one, varying according to the individual, or to the own entity's application of same, and view and concept of same in its relation to that as is set as the criterion of the entity's endeavors.
    Much may be said as respecting these conditions as present themselves to this entity, [900], at this time - yet these, in this small way, without any of that of the making undue consideration or undue noise as to what IS being presented - but will the entity [if the entity will] but study for the moment of the bigness that is being SHOWN the entity, then will the entity declare within self that, "I WILL be worthy, and WILL apply that being given me."
