This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 28th day of September, 1927, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [900].

TEXT

1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [900], of ... St., N.Y. City, and the dreams this body had on the dates which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from each of these, as I read them to you, and you will answer the questions which I will ask you regarding same.
2. EC: Yes - yes - Be well if [900] would listen to those approaches as are being given to the body through Marcus Loew, see?
3. We have the body, the enquiring mind, [900]. This we have had here before. Ready for dream.
4. (Q) Afternoon of September 26. "The way to do it is to turn right in to Long's stock," I said. "Then how do you expect Long to hold his stock," I was answered.
   (A) This shows in body conscious reasoning rather than presentation of direct commands, for the body finds self directing rather than being directed, see? Then consider self as being presented with that of the way in which better understandings may be attained, by not projecting self forward, even in the VISIONS of the subconscious or of the cosmic forces.
5. (Q) Does this mean actual liquidation and lower prices, or merely selling to shake out long holders and thus get cheap stock?
   (A) Rather it means that as has been outlined. Referring rather to the position and the condition of the mind itself, than to stocks or conditions as related to stocks.
6. (Q) Morning of September 26. Saw Baldwin selling at 204 - 205 - 207. Meaning what regarding Baldwin?
   (A) That same change as has been given that this particular stock would be as the criterion for the various changes as would occur - that is, the lead - as it were - will be in that particular stock. Hence there is seen, while fluctua tions are seen in actual effect, but - as is indicated by that vision - the gradual increase in a very slow or dilatory manner - meaning short changes - short changes, see?
7. (Q) Of recent date. Saw my mother sick upon her return from her trip. I said: "O yes, she has Fleisher's or Fisher's disease. [Fleischner's or Fiedler's disease?] I had the same thing - remember?" (This referring to time I had German measles and yellow jaundice.) [See 900-1 Reports.] Then turning to my mother I said: "Had you taken the osteopath treatments as you were told to, this would never have happened." Then I thought that maybe her sickness would convince Ma - yet reasoned that it might not in spite of all. [See 106-11 Reports.]
   (A) In this there is presented for the entity's understanding those conditions as have been presented wherein the entity - through the telepathic forces of the activities of the inner self - might gain the insight to conditions as were presented from time to time, and through which the entity would - should the entity prepare to do itself in that way and manner - act in the way as the one who might act as the prophet, the foreteller, or the inspired action of the inner self towards conditions. As is seen, here is presented to the entity the activity in which the entity may give just that condition as may appear, or may act - and, as also there is seen, the activity of the body could, would, prevent such conditions by insisting upon those elements being carried out to prevent same - and, as is seen, the reasoning within self as concerning the activity of the mind of the other individual is as the existence of the condition within the mind. Act then in that way and manner in which the entity may prevent, or may bring about the best conditions for all concerned. Using self's own discretion in the way and manner as has been presented to the entity from time to time.
8. (Q) What is the disease mentioned -
   (A) (Interrupting) It's mentioned and given. Direct self according to that as has been seen.
