This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 23rd day of November, 1927, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [900].

TEXT

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at this body at the present time, with suggestions for the improvement of same.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here - this we have had before.
3. Now, we find there are some changes in the physical forces of the body from that as we have had here before. The nerve tension under which the body has labored shows the reactions to be in the way of causing more undue metabolism in the system than should be, and the retention in same - as the body has produced from the purely mental application of forces toward self and those of cleansing the system through the over elimination - has not brought about as much reaction in the proper form as should; for we find there is the tendency for the body to have left in same - by the continual flushing of the system through the increased throwing off of the mucus and lactic producing fluids in the jejunum and the intestinal tract proper - drosses, as it were, in those portions where the normal functioning of organs begins. That is, as of the liver, of the kidneys. Hence we have an auto-infection from same; that is, the dullness, the lethargy, the inability to react, the headaches, the nausea that is apparent, as flashes. These are results of these conditions.
4. We would then warn body as respecting the diet and the care of the digesting and eliminating system. Well, we find, that those properties as are seen in Oxy-Crystine or in those of the similar nature be taken in the system to bring about the better application of those forces as may be applied thru self, and as the response of the system to manipulations throughout the general system. Take same, however, in very small doses. Less than half teaspoonful for the first two to three days. Then half teaspoonful, and at ALL times drink ABUNDANCE of water, that this may flush the system and the whole hepatic circulation - the liver, the kidneys, the whole of the system may be cleansed from this condition. Then we will find the body will respond to the manipulation and the lights, and the activities, and the outside influences, and better assimilation will be found. Beware of STIMULANTS of alcoholic nature until the system is cleansed well, at least. Do that. We are through with this reading.
