This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 19th day of October, 1928, in accordance with request made by Mr. [900].

TEXT

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [900] - this we have had here before. The dreams, the visions, as come to the body, are as that as has been presented for same, and application may be made in the manner as indicated, by and through the characterization of that presented. Ready for dream.
2. (Q) Last night while reading the Bible. I closed my eyes and opened them. As I closed them I felt someone was trying to communicate with me. I thought it was Gary. I was told to close my eyes again. I did so, and this came through: "Big move coming - 380 or 385", and I wondered if the stock was Montgomery Ward - which I judged it was from the price given, and I received the reply - or think I did - "Yes, Montgomery Ward". Didn't know whether this was just my own conclusion or whether it had reference to Montgomery Ward, Radio, or some other stock. Will this come before the general slump?
   (A) This as indicated, in the way and manner as presented, represents the definite declaration to the body from these sources as indicated of activities as respecting this particular stock. Numbers, however, seen, are 3 - 5 - 8, rather than 3 - 8 - 5. This, however, will be the turning point, or the point when changes in others may be expected, and will then advance until the near 385 point. This in reference to Montgomery Ward, with the varied changes as will come. This presents, then, a definite issue for the body, and will be before the general downward tendency arises. This tendency, or down tendency, may be expected when there is the general break in rails. This an indication for the body to be on the lookout for a general break. Not before this occurs will there be any general or decided down movement. At that time, then, centralize self as respecting what activities there may be, and through those channels as has been given will come that which will bring power and affluence to the bodies as given, if these are kept and applied in the manner as has been outlined for these bodies.
3. (Q) The market letter we have prepared, warning the public of the general slump - just when should this be mailed out, if at all?
   (A) When this indication comes, as has just been given - which we would find near the 26th.
4. (Q) Was my purchase of the stock this morning for 380 in line with that given?
   (A) For the 3 - 5 - 8, yes.
5. (Q) I called up [257] and advised him to sell radio. I was told, "Don't sell radio."
   (A) This, as indicated. Do not advise other than that as is given through the channels that have been outlined or stipulated in which the body may act, else there comes those very conditions of which the body has been warned. Either be guided by that as is given, or let same alone. Either use the activities as are outlined, and in the MANNER as outlined, or use that of self's OWN individual consciousness from the manner of individual reasoning.
6. (Q) Is the time near when we should sell for that break?
   (A) This, as indicated, will be given through that as has been outlined, and that of the rail the criterion. Follow that. We are through for the present.
