EC: We have the body [
903] here, and those conditions as
surround same. This we have had before. Now, there is near
the time of the fulfillment of that as has been given, and
while the conditions are outwardly of the extreme nature,
to some, the condition is understood by those in charge of
same and they should have, as given, their leeway of handling
the condition. The injection of the assistance through the
rectum will be the easier way for mother and child, for
while the mother will be in labor for seven to ten hours,
this should be accomplished in a nominal, normal manner.
Ready for questions.
(Q) Does that mean it will be from seven to ten hours from
now before the baby will be born?
(A) From seven to ten hours from the beginning of labor
pains, which begun in the afternoon.
(Q) Will baby be born normally -
(A) As has been given, it should be - were the correct
conditions carried out as ones in charge feel now - though
there may arise other conditions from present existent ones.
They should not be, with the proper care.
(Q) Of what should the injection be?
(A) That as is commonly used for such. The compound of
those narcotics used as same.
(Q) Should anything be said to the doctor in charge?
(A) As given, the doctor should have charge and not be
commanded.
(Q) What advice to father after baby comes?
(A) There might be a world of this! but just be as
patient as can at present!
(Q) Any further advice concerning this?
(A) This, and that as is being done, is being done properly
at present. We are through for the present.

on time to ease our minds with [

were up I told the doctor to take it as it would never come
by itself - he wouldn't do it and wanted to go home and I
wouldn't stand for him to go home - so he remained. The
doctor [Samuel Geist, M.D.] thinks a great deal of your
work and you will see him..."
