GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of
[
903], present in this room, who seeks a physical, mental and
spiritual reading, with special attention to conditions of
her right breast; giving the causes of the congestion or pain
which has been bothering her continually, and what to do to
cure this condition. You will answer the questions she
submits, as I ask them. When you have finished with this
Reading, you will answer the questions regarding another
body, whose name and address I will then give you.
EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [
903],
present in this room; this we have had before.
In the physical forces of the body there are those tendencies
towards disturbance that the body should take warning
concerning.
As there approaches those periods of change in the general
glandular system, ALL of the glands - and especially those
pertaining to the mammary glands - give disturbance to the
body.
In the present this is only as a clot or cyst in the gland
itself; not of any malignant nature, though easily might
become so - if it is allowed to deteriorate as it exists, or
if there were a bruise.
But to set up the general eliminations, as would be
activative forces with the glandular system, should
eliminate and dissipate the disturbances there.
This would be done in the form of the hormones that are given
either as injections or by mouth, as of the thyroid
secretions. Either of these, necessarily, are given under
the direction of a physician who watches or follows the
activity of same.
As to other conditions through the body, of a general nature
(while this just indicated is of the specific nature), - we
find that the general shock to the system from outside
influences needs to be relaxed, osteopathically; that there
be no disturbance from the centers along the system where arm
and elbow (that shows injury) make direct connection with the
nerves of the cerebrospinal system, in the area of the 4th,
5th and 6th dorsal, and in the 3rd cervical. To be sure, the
1st and 2nd cervical will need to be coordinated with same,
when these treatments are made. McLean would do very well.
The condition in the elbow, the bruise - which does not show
externally - is indicated in the small end of the bone that
covers the elbow itself. This is what keeps the stiffness,
and is cushioned at present. The hot and cold applications
will aid. Take these daily for two or three days, for some
two or three times at a period; first hot, then COLD - ice
water, and hot water. These will reduce the condition there.
As for the general condition in the pelvis and those
variations in the lumbar axis, - these have NOT been
benefited by this shock to the nervous system. But, as
indicated, they should not be attempted to be corrected in
the present, owing to the general conditions as related to
the activity of the glandular system through the organs of
the pelvis. But, WHEN there are those reductions through
either the injections or the hormones taken by mouth, when
and as these are activative in the body, then these
corrections SHOULD be made - osteopathically, so that the
activity of the whole glandular system may be corrected.
Ready for questions.
(Q) Will the physician be willing to give injections to
reduce cyst instead of operation?
(A) He should be, if he knows his business!
(Q) Who would be the best doctor for this particular
condition?
(A) Any good internal medicine man.
(Q) How long has this cyst been developing?
(A) Nearly eleven years!
(Q) How deep is the condition now?
(A) How deep is a well? How deep is the mammary gland?
This is internal, but - as indicated - it is merely a clot at
present, or like a cyst that would form from any portion
becoming dead or centered in itself. But as indicated, it
has been encased. This MAY be dissipated.
(Q) How long should we wait to get reactions?
(A) The sooner you begin the treatment, of course, the
better it will be. The examinations there as indicated
should be under the direction of a physician who watches the
conditions.
(Q) What is causing ache in finger joints?
(A) As indicated, this is a tendency towards the formation
of crustations. This is an activity in the system, but
setting up eliminations, setting up drainages - as should be
exercised by those injections of the hormone of male sperm in
the body - will make for those activities to eliminate these
tendencies, and set the glandular forces to activity.
(Q) What form of physical exercise will this body be
permitted now?
(A) As we find, do not be too overactive. Walking, activi-
ties having to do with general activity - be very careful in
driving an automobile - be very careful if you would play any
games, or anything using the arms too much.
(Q) How about swimming?
(A) Swimming is a variation, for this is a buoyancy that
comes from all directions of the body. This is very well, if
not overdone.
(Q) Under these conditions, to what work should I devote
myself this coming year?
(A) The working with children!
(Q) What is the condition of the pelvis?
(A) As indicated, this is associated with the activity of
the glandular system, and as drainages are set up then a
correction there should be made to keep the pelvis in a
balance.
(Q) Is there any danger of a cancerous condition coming from
this breast formation?
(A) Read just what has been given.
(Q) Is there any other advice?
(A) We would keep in that way as indicated here, being
constructive in the thinking and in the purposefulness of the
body in its activity. And, as these are kept, as is
understood by the body, these have much to do with the
effects as may be produced in the physical being.
We are through with this Reading.

REPORTS
7/07/43 She referred Mrs. [
3243] for a Physical Rdg.
7/09/43 "I know you are interested in what Dr. Wayne Babcock
[Wayne W. Babcock, M.D.] had to say, so will drop you this
note. Had another osteopathic tr. with Dr. M. L. Richardson
before leaving - that coupled with 3 days of absolute rest in
Wash. helped clear the system of some of its more alarming
aspects. Breathing was easier and swelling diminished...
[He read my reading first.] After examination Dr. Babcock
said most of the hardening and pain was due to the injury of
tissue in the breast and shock - then he gave me a hormone
injection - only asking that I get in touch with him in a
week and give my reaction."
7/10/43 Husband submitted questions saying Dr. Babcock
thought the cyst would dissolve but x-ray showed "fracture of
the arm - a small piece of bone entirely separate fr. main
bone of arm... Is Dr. Daisy Fletcher a good osteopath for
her?"
