This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 20th day of March, 1925, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [953].

Present: Edgar Cayce; Linden Shroyer, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Born October 1, 1871, [4:20 A.M.], on a farm about 5 miles S & E of Olean, Miller Co., Mo.

TEXT

1. LS: You will give the relation of this entity and the Universe, and the Universal Forces, giving the conditions that are as personalities latent and exhibited in the present life. Also the former appearances in the earth's plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in that life which built or retarded the development for the entity, giving the abilities of the present entity and to that which it may attain, and how.
2. EC: Now we find we have had and given the relations as are shown with the Universal Forces and the effects as are exhibited in the present life, with the names, the place and that as is related to the present condition, position, relation in the earth's plane.
3. The entity we find takes its position from Jupiter, with those of Mercury, Uranus, Mars, and with Neptune, the entity having passed then through much development in the spheres about the earth's plane, having much development in the earth's sphere and being retarded, as given, through some of the sojourns in earth's sphere. The entity we find has developed more from will's influence in the present sphere, with that of the sojourn in Jupiter's forces. Hence the conditions:
4. One whose greater influence is for the good in the present earth's plane, and having the urge of the control over many men in many walks and stations in life, and who through these ennobling influences yields the greater influence over the lives of others, with the same developing self to the understanding of the deepness of the riches as is found in service to fellowman.
5. One who has the latent forces of wrath well in hand. One who has let this condition exercise much in the life. One ever in the presence of firearms and destructive forces from without, yet one ever shielded from such by the love as is shed abroad in the life of the individual in the present plane.
6. One who will find the greater amount of monies coming to the entity in the latter days, and this we find will soon begin to manifest, and this comes from the greater outdoors.
7. One we find who wields the influence in groups, in classes, in masses, by the force as is shed through the magnetism of the personality as shown in the individuality of the entity.
8. One who has the influence in Mars, the destructive forces as come to bodily injuries to the body, as has been exhibited in the body, yet these coming rather from those of accidental nature than from those through which and by which the entity is at all times closely surrounded.
9. One we find that is in the manner developing through will's forces in the entity, and in this we find the manifestations of those experiences through which the entity has passed in the earth's plane.
10. Then, in the appearances as we find, are in these: Names have been given.
11. First in that (that is, after this in the present earth plane) of the Puritan age in the present country. In the land and the community now known near Lynn, and the entity then the judiciary for the community and acting in the capacity of the executioner of the judgement as passed by the groups, or as "stool dipper" for those who did not adhere to the Puritan principles as set forth by the groups.
12. In this we find the lack of development in the entity, for the entity imposed upon the mental forces of others that as found necessary in self's aggrandizement of conditions pertaining to physical and mental attributes of bodies. In the personality as is shown in the present, we find one who studies rather the motives of each and every act of those whom the entity contacts, and given the insight and perceptibility necessary, as it were, to read the thoughts of others pertaining to any given question, which such an individual expresses same in words.
13. In the one before this we find as the soldier, in the guard at the gate where Charles the First was beheaded, and the entity then of great stature and resisted the inrush of others who would come to assist or over-step that as had been set by law and principle of those in charge of execution. In the personality as we find from this, that indomitable spirit of law and order, and of when orders are issued to be obeyed, as leader of law the entity seeks that obedience. When given as spirit of law, the entity seeks that obedience. In the one then we find the development in the entity in this plane, for with that rule as then set was given the understanding of the individual forces as are set in individuals, classes or groups, and an understanding of individual rule, class rule and mass rule.
14. In the one before this we find in the judge in the courts in Herod's rule, and the councillor to that judiciary at that time. The entity in this shows the weaknesses of the flesh, in that the ruler was given in the exercise of the earthly desires of the entity then sought to assist in gratifying these, from the position of the individual to which he sought to give service. In the personality as is shown from this, again we find the opposite, or the dislike to royalty or of high position who would lord same over subordinates, or those who would serve. Rather giving place to that condition [point of view] as is predominant in the individual, now is shown in present earth plane, all are born free and equal, and the ability to serve giving place to position occupied in the earth's plane, or the individual's relation to a higher or supreme being. In this again we find the entity in the present plane seeks not dogmatic conditions but rather those principles that would move and bring about the action or state of being in which one would offer service to fellowman, or to God.
15. In the one before this, again we find as the soldier and armor bearer to Xerxes as the ruler swept into power and brought the subjugation of those rebellious forces in the South and West, to which the armies and the armor bearer assisted. The entity at that time remaining rather an non-entity in its individual development, for he became rather the one without expression of individuality, or of the forces as was and might have been exercised in will forces. In the personality as is shown then in the present, we find those times, those conditions under which the entity feels an urge to give place to those who are in authority, though the entity himself may know they (the conditions) are not such as is best for self; bringing then the contradictory conditions as is at times set.
16. In the one before this we find in the rule when the rebuilding of the walls of the Holy City were being brought, and the entity then the builder on the south gate, and the one sent to parley with Sanballat who resisted the forces as was being brought in by Nehemiah and Ezra. The entity then standing as the leader (as to-day) in that force, and the personality as is exhibited in the present being the ability to guide, lead and correctly judge the attention and perceptibility of individuals when given orders, or as would be illustrated in common terms: When an order is given by the entity at present, with the individual to whom the order is given, the entity almost knows beforehand the ability of the entity to carry that out, and just how far he will. Seeking forces then from that as is shown in Neptune's forces, as give the keener insight to the secret forces in mental, with superconscious and subconscious forces as manifest through individuals.
17. In the ones before this we find in the Egyptian forces, when the first rule was given to the people as regarding relations of individuals to a Higher Being, and those orders and those rules as were being set, as were physical manifestations of a spiritual development of individuals attempting to show their relationship to the Higher Forces. The entity then occupying that position as the councillor to the ruler at that time, coming as he did from the plains country of now the Arabian to the rule of the Egyptian forces as were first set in Gazr [Gizeh]. Now, the entity finds in this present earth's plane the desire to study of all forces and conditions as pertain to archaeological, the old characters as represent the attempt of individuals of the age to express or to give the knowledge attained to future generations. 18. Then, as to the abilities of the individual in the present earth plane as taken from these, we find one who finds many changes throughout the earthly sojourn. That is, in many stations, in many places, in many conditions the individual finds collaboration of the studies that have become and are innate in the individual to study the manifestations as is shown in a physical world, with the ability to co-relate and to bring these to-gether in such a manner as to be of service to many, with the ability to lead, guide, and take orders at the same time.
19. [The entity] will reach then through these relations that wherein much may be given to the world through co-relation of truths found, sought, and in giving same through the world seeking to understand themselves better and their relations with the Creation, the Universe, the Universal Forces; and in distribution of such the entity finds its greatest reward to self and the development of self to that Home lying beyond the realms of earthly forces.
20. Then, to exercise this, and as to how, use that wherein thou hast in hand, and exercise will's forces in bringing about that which shall soon come to pass, in the giving of that as is found in truth to many peoples.
