Dr. [

..., Florida
Dear Dr. [
969]:
In reply to yours of the 25th, I wish to assure you that
I am always desirous of being of help to any individual who
is really seeking; especially one who desires to give much
service to humanity.
However, I feel that the subjects you mention were covered
as much as possible in the last reading, unless it were
possible for you to make out definite and specific questions
pertaining to the details of these propositions - using the
information last given as the basis for such questions. Do
you see what I mean? Just simply to put the same questions
before the source of information, without going to work at
what has already been given - or without using that as a
basis for the questioning, would not bring forth anything
different from what has already been given, or anything that
would be of great value to you. So, I would suggest that
you make out definite, specific questions you wish to ask,
as to just how to do this or that, which you have already
undertaken to do; rather than just asking that "something"
be given you on this or that. For unless you ask specific
questions, you do not get specific answers.
Know that we will be very glad to attempt another reading
for you, but in order that you may receive the best, I'm sure
the best approach is to ask the definite questions - about
something on which you have already started to work,
according to that given in the first reading.
As many others, I have always been a great admirer of James
Whitcomb Riley. I heard him lecture many years ago, and of
course his poetry - and especial]y "An Old Sweetheart of
Mine" will always live in the hearts and minds of many.
Trusting to hear from you again, and that we may be of a
service, I am
Sincerely,
ASS'N FOR RESEARCH & ENLIGHTENMENT, INC. EC:GD
