HQ 4th Post
APO 22 8 P.M. N.Y.
Dear Mr. Cayce:
Since I last talked to you have done quite a bit of
traveling. In Jan 43 went to Fla & was there until Jan 44
when I went to Calif. Came to England in May 44 just in
time to participate in the invasion. Have been in France
ever since and expect to stay until this war is wound up.
We are real busy these days long hours with never any time
off but it matters little if it helps win the war. By the
way has the end of the war ever come up in a reading?
I suppose you must be real busy. I read "The Miracle Man of
Virginia Beach" and I suppose that coupled with "There is a
River" must have swamped you. I hope that it made many new
contacts for you to help people that needed help. I have
never rec'd my copy of "There is a River". Imagine it must
be following me around somewhere as you didn't know my
address. Did it have a good sale? Sincerely hope so.
I expect that when the war is over that I shall return to
practice but doubt very much if it will be in N.Y.C. At
present I plan to go to Florida and shall have to have a
reading before I actually do start in again to find out just
what I should do. If you remember the life reading it had
told me to go to Penn. but at that time it seemed impossible.
This time there will be nothing that will prevent my going
any where. The other night I was reading the life of Wm Penn
and I must say it stuck a responsive chord and I must as soon
as possible read more about him.
Would appreciate hearing from you and news of the family &
Tom Sugrue. You are doing a wonderful work and I hope you
get the recognition that you deserve,
Sincerely, [

Lt Col C. E.
[GD's note: He did return to N.Y. practice, but not N.Y.C.]
2/09/68 He requested a copy of his Life Rdg. and also his
wife's Physical Rdgs. 1124-1,2,3: "My wife took her own life
and at this point I wonder was there any warning [in the
readings] and could this have been prevented."
9/28/71 His second wife wrote that Dr. [

in his sleep on
9/08/71.
