This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at the Warshawsky home, 3046 Webb Avenue, Detroit, Michigan, this 21st day of November, 1935, in accordance with request made by the mother - Mrs. [1073], Associate Member of the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Present: Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Guilda Warshawsky Krause, Maurice D. Mitshkun, a Mr. Lasky, and Hugh Lynn Cayce.

TEXT

1. EC: Yes. We have the body here; this we have had before.
2. While conditions are very serious, and there are the indications of the extension or dilation more through those areas of the conditions that disturb the body (preventing the eliminations, and now forming pressures so that the digestive forces become more disturbed), a great deal of this arises from the anxieties produced around and by the movement of the body.
3. And, as we find, the hope of making for that which will enable those little resistances still existent to be increased, is to follow those suggestions that have been indicated; patiently, carefully, persistently.
4. For, as given, we find that these offer the only hope of the distresses being decreased - or the eliminations being set up sufficiently that there may not be either the breaking of tissue or the strangulation of the heart's activities by the poisons in the body.
5. Do that.
6. (Q) Is there anything that may be done for relief of the nausea which has occurred?
   (A) The combinations of these ingredients:

   Cinnamon Water...........................1 ounce,
Limewater................................1 ounce,
10% solution Iodide of Potassium........20 minims,
10% solution Bromide of Potassium.......40 minims.

   The dose would be half to a quarter teaspoonful in a little water, to prevent nausea. Do not give such QUANTITIES, however, that the effect of the bromides would make a hindrance in the gastric flow of the digestive forces. But it may be given - half or quarter teaspoonful in a little water every three or four hours, for a day; but the body should rest from same then for at least twenty-four hours before more is given.
7. (Q) What will relieve the swelling in the abdomen?
   (A) The heat from the Elliot Machine, the applications of the Mullein Stupes, are the most HELPFUL conditions for this. Also allowing, to be sure, the eliminations that are attempting to normally be eliminated to be cleansed by the colon irrigation as oft as necessary to prevent these poisons that are being eliminated from producing a distressed condition in the colon or the lower portion where the prolapsus - or lack of the movement - is indicated.
   This, then, should be done; even though there are eliminations from the alimentary canal, to cleanse the lower portion of colon area.
8. (Q) The Mullein Stupes should be placed over the abdomen?
   (A) As indicated; the limb, the abdomen - the abdomen the more!
9. (Q) Was the person who gave the colonic alright for this, or was it done properly?
   (A) This one knows her business, and can handle well the situation!
10. (Q) Are all treatments being given properly?
    (A) Not all treatments in the immediate, but in their order they should be maintained.
    Be calm, be patient. GIVE the applications OPPORTUNITY for their reactions upon the system. These CAN be crowded so fast that they produce IRRITATIONS! hence allow the gathering of the fluids to cause greater distress.
11. (Q) Will you give the daily outline of the treatments in the order they should be given?
    (A) These have been given. Follow those.
