8/15/35 4:55 to 5:05 P.M., attempted Life Rdg. Mr. L. B.
Cayce present. After suggestion was given by Mrs. Cayce:
"Aug. 13, 1904 - something all awry here. Give this again."
I motioned for Mr. L. B. to leave the room. At times the
reading has continued after he left*. GC gave whole
suggestion again, and he repeated everything, even went over
dates back to 1904, at New Bedford, Mass:
"No, we don't get it. (Pause) They make a lot of shoes
here. Smells like leather. (Pause) No, there's - We don't
get it."
GC gave him suggestion to wake up. He asked if we got a good
reading. GD.
* [Mr. L. B. Cayce sat in on every reading he could.
Sometimes the reading was of such a personal nature that
apparently it could not be given with him present. Of
course, he would not have been allowed to be present if Miss
[
989] were present, for she had not even sat in on her
mothers's Life Rdg., although she was in the vicinity.]
